Back to Basics Volume One comes courtesy of brothers Eric and Nick Vidal, better known as veteran DJ duo The Baka Boyz . Over the course of the 1990s, the Bakersfield, California-bred brothers became a dominant force in Los Angeles and Bay Area radio, launching Power 106’ Friday Night Flavas program in ‘92 and proceeding to host numerous smash-hit morning shows. In 2001, The Baka Boyz teamed up with syndication giant Superadio to expand their reach with The Bakaboyz Master Mix. Broadcast on over 75 radio stations nationwide, the massively successful program pulls in three million-plus listeners each week.
