Suga City emcee Arkansas Bo has joined forces with Conduit Entertainment, Kevin Nottingham and DJBooth.net to bring fans his latest solo mixtape, The Notebook.
The street album compiles 18 new records from the Arkansas-born, Dallas-based rapper, including Booth-premiered leak “Shine.” Also featured are “The Dream” and “Monsta N*gga,” the tracks showcased in Bo’s two-part promotional video for the project.
Guest appearances include Soulja T, Dave Harmony, Ferocious and Big Keise, as well as fellow Suga City member Goines. Beats come courtesy of Indiana Jones, IllDescript, K-Dub, Brian Keith and Mike [of One Way Entertainment].

Biased as always but it doesnt change the fact that The Notebook is fire. Bo offers an in-depth picture of the various things that make him who he is...from his southern upbringing that bred his style, to the experience with racism that gave rise to his social consciousness, to his experiences in gang life, Bo manages to provide deep, light-hearted, witty and serious commentary all at the same time.

If you're for "Real Life" music, then this going to be the perfect download for you. AB talks about day to day living for the average person. Included with tracks from the hottest of producers and features from the hottest of artist, "The Notebook" is sure to tingle your mind and ears. Where has this cat been?!?!!? The industry needs him!!!!!

This dude is fire. He is real dude that tells it like it is. His lyrical flexibility is crazy. I can't wait til Bo and Suga City are mainstream so I can just turn on the radio to hear them.

This is THE best album I have heard in a very long time! To know he is from the south is even that much sweeter! I literally was laughing on one track and thought I was going to crash! Brilliant!
And like Tallismaniac said, I feel like I am stealing from Bo! Where do I donate/support him? Damn! |

Bo has always rapped with a chip on the shoulder, but that is what makes ur style. The fact that you willin to step out on the edge of the cliff and say what needs to be said. You give the South a new voice and something that is not following the trends or the cloning process that the game seems to be plagued with. Stay on the GRIND!!!
