Bio

Nathan Slavik is an award-winning journalist, writer, editor and believer in the overwhelming power of the word.  Originally from Boston, he has lived on California’s earthquake-prone soil for nearly a decade.  Nathan attended San Francisco State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Creative Writing.  He currently resides in Los Angeles where he is the Managing Editor for DJBooth in addition to working as a journalist and freelance writer with over 150 bylines to his credit.  Nathan has won numerous awards for his writing including a Feature Story Award from the C.A. Journalism Association and the Mark Lithenthal Award for Poetry.
