DJ’s “Z” & Caliente from DJBooth.net have interviewed female rap artist from the ATL, Rasheeda.  After almost six years since she last dropped a solo effort, her new album Georgia Peach has an April 25th release date.

Originally signed to Motown Records, Rasheeda released her debut album ‘Dirty South’ in October 2000. Dirty South featured collaborations with Kurupt, Kool Ace, and Nelly.  This time around she calls Jive Records her home and has features from Lil’ Scrappy and Petey Pablo.

During the interview Rasheeda talks about the difficulty behind being a female in the hip-hop artist, the one thing that has stopped her from pursuing an additional career in modeling, and the additional responsibilities she has on top of her rap career.
