It’s truly amazing how people only realize what they are missing, once they no longer have “it.”  For Memphis rapper, Project Pat (brother of Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J,) feelings of despair are the direct result of missing that certain “it.”  While serving jail time for a violation of his parole, Pat was able to detox from his stressful life and realize what he longed for the most; An opportunity to be with his family and do the one thing in life he loves, record music for his fans.

Riding off of the success from party starter singles such as Chickenhead and the Three 6 Mafia collaboration, Sippin on Some Syrup,  Project Pat has always stepped his work up to the next level (for lack of a better analogy).  Regardless of his short prison term hiatus, Pat is back in the industry with a new album being released via Sony Urban.  Crook By The Book: The Fed Story, a musical tale of his life, his passion and his playful sense of humor is set to drop this December.  When asked why he chose a Winter Tuesday for the drop date, Pat happily offered, “So I can have me a nice stocking stuffer for Christmas.”

During his interview with DJZ,” Project Pat talks about the love he has been shown while on tour the past year (since becoming a free man),  what listeners can expect from the new album (heavy production from Three 6) and how he has adapted to reality show TV cameras following his every move the past few months.
