DJ’s “Z” & Caliente from DJBooth.net have interviewed the extremely beautiful, multi-talented and always busy, Melyssa Ford. Besides being the current host of B.E.T. Style alongside Big Tiggah, Melyssa is in the middle of writing an autobiography which will be available at the end of 2006.  If in need of a current Melyssa Ford fix, her 2006 swimsuit calendar and making of DVD are currently available for purchase.

Originally from the clean streets of Toronto, Canada, Melyssa Ford made a name for herself starring in music videos for some of the hip-hop world’s most popular artists which include Jay-Z, Usher and R. Kelly.  After putting herself on the map as an international sex symbol, Melyssa quickly jumped at the opportunity to showcase her many other talents.  Using her eloquent speaking ability, writing skills and natural beauty Melyssa got offered a permanent job at both the B.E.T. network and several fashion magazines.

While on the phone, Melyssa discusses the stigma of being known to many only as a “video girl”, why Cam’ron came off ignorant in his diss track against Jay-Z, and what her dream job would be within the music industry.  To hear her sexy and talented voice, take a listen!
