DJ’s “Z” & Caliente from DJBooth.net have interviewed St. Louis native and teenage rap sensation, J-Kwon

After the huge success of his debut album, Hood Hop, there are lofty expectations for his follow up due out this summer, entitled Louisville Slugger.  Album guests include Teairra Mari, Murphy Lee & MTV reality show star Andy Milonakis.  Reaching platinum status at the age of seventeen, J-Kwon instantly raised the bar for early age success.  His single “Tipsy” worked both the clubs and the charts and overnight he became the third big thing to blow from the Lou (Nelly, then Chingy).

Throughout the interview J-Kwon touches on his odd collaboration with Andy Milonakis and why St. Louis sports are better than that of Chicago.  He also unexpectedly takes over the interview by turning the “Pregame” into “J-Kwon Radio.”  As the script gets flipped, see how “Z” and Caliente respond to Kwon’s arsenal of questions.  Take a listen!
