DJ “Z” from DJBooth.net has interviewed CEO & President of Big Chile Records, Chingo Bling.
Chingo and renowned DJ Tony Touch have joined hands with Jose Cuervo Tequila, the world’s largest Tequila company, in search of the next generation of Latino artists who will take Hispanic Urban music into the future. Known as Cuervotón, this collaborative effort and talent search will showcase new rising stars in the industry and help promote Latinos in the music business. Machete Records and Wu-Tang Latino Records have also signed on to assist with the Cuervotón movement. Oh yeah, he also raps and runs his own Tamale operation.
While garnering offers from every major label across the country, Chingo remains level-headed with a straight entrepreneurial mind frame. During the interview he discusses how he got into the tamale business, his love for drinking Tequila, and the importance behind the above mentioned Cuervotón promotion.
