Goines - Lead By Example: Leaders are Real People 2
“I've been waiting to get this new album for...well, let's just say for awhile. :) It makes me smile to know that Goines is motivated by ALL of the comments, ratings or feedback regarding the album. For those who seem to only publish negativity...for those who seem to only find something that could be better, stronger, harder...for all those types, even YOU are an inspiration. No, I never said you weren't an asshole, but I continue to see the artist we know as Goines use the good AND the bad while he pushes on. Every beat is inclusive of not only the lovers, but also the haters. If you are in the "lover" category of things, then preach on my friend. However, if you find yourself steady hatin' in the latter of the two, just know that you continue to be the inspiration for certain lyrical genius within the new album (LEAD BY EXAMPLE...download it NOW). I mean just listen to track 2. The central theme shows the struggle for the emcee who doesn't exactly conform to the stereotypical notion of a "rapper" in today's society. Goines and JP (who, by the way, needs his OWN album solely based on this track alone) prove that nothing is perfect in the world of a musical genius. More importantly, both gentlemen also send a much needed message to those who feel that it is of such dire importance to speak nothing but negative in response to something as dope as this album: "Cause we just keep movin' While you sittin' at home Gettin' mad at 'cho bitch 'Cause she's singin' along..."
