Nobody Else (Remix) Promo Photo Yonas - “Nobody Else (Remix)”

“This might have been mentioned before, but damn I hear Tupac all over this track. From the concept, to Yonas's flow and lyrics, even the chorus adlibs. Obviously not the entire track, but am I alone here? Anyways, nice track, 3.5.”

Joan of Arc Promo Photo Ryan Leslie - “Joan of Arc”

“R. Les has stepped into the Hip-Hop arena as of late, with three out of three new tracks to be released off "Les is More" are filled with him spittin. The release date of the album was mentioned by himself several times at his show in San Francisco, which happens to be July 4. I'm not a "super-fan" by any means, but I have incredible respect for what this dude does musically. The other couple tracks from the album can be found on his YouTube channel: "Breathe" and "Maybachs and Diamonds."”

Emilio Rojas Emilio Rojas - “Champion”

“Emilio's flow is undeniable, but his ability to remain on topic throughout tracks is equally impressive.”

Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty Promo Photo Big Boi - “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty”

“I had an extremely difficult time ignoring most of the other tracks posted on various websites to avoid spoiling the day this album dropped. The anticipation was well worth the wait. Definitely brought some excitement back to purchasing on album on the release date (even though I'm not one to bootleg albums). I must say while there isn't a plethora of cuts that will blow out the radio airwaves, they are sure blowing up my speakers. Big Boi's level of creativity is beyond any other artist's even at this point in the game. And yes, even the skits are dope, haha. Classic”

How I Got Over Promo Photo The Roots - “How I Got Over”

“The album's overall mellow vibe is something I truly appreciate from The Roots. While maybe one uplifting/dance-oriented/higher-tempo cut would have been nice, I found myself sinking into the stories that unfolded in almost every track. Much respect to them for putting Blu on too, I hope he's on your radar by now. Favorites (no particular order): Radio Daze Doin' It Again Dear God 2.0 Web 20/20 The Fire Thank you Legendary Roots Crew.”

{title} Laws - 5:01 (Overtime)

“Thank you DJBooth. I'm still slappin 4:57 and this edition just adds some extra on it. As hesitant as I am to give it five stars (to reiterate what reviewers have said about artists and their room for improvement), I'm still going through with it.”
