Evan Roberts - Outta Hear EP
“Not much needs to be said. Wow, amazing and unique are three word i would use to get you to download this tape, dont skip any tracks, but be ready for "Don't Wanna Hear", if it doesnt blow your mind: consider suicide... All in all though the album is so amazing because of its unique approach to hip hop in the fact that almost all the tracks are rock/pop influenced and based. I would say that this is the kind of stuff that hip hop needs to remain alive and well, very refreshing to hear.” HipHopHampsterWhat's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The ILLZ - The Pursuit LP
“One thing that gets me pumped on an artist is a dope intro track, ILLZ had my back on this album. Great track to draw you in, followed by one of his better tracks on the album. Tracks featuring a female singer (not sure who) are all really good, very melodical and soothing, reminiscent of someone like Suzanne Vega. I would label "Dark Side of the Room" as my favorite track, mixing ILLZ's very STRONG voice with an eerie piano track that creates the image I believe hes looking for on the track. Though this is no classic, this album has definite class and style to it, and is definitely worth a download and more than one listen through” HipHopHampsterWhat's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Silver & The Incomparable Shakespeare - The British Invasion
“I was hesitant to download this tape given my distaste for most british rappers (Dizzee Rascal...), but was immediately drawn in by the epic piano chords of the intro, plus the classy estelle never fails to draw me in. Next on the plate he kills a personal favorite of mine (Eleanor Rigby) on "Lonely People"... Im always impressed when hip hop incorporates classic pop or rock music. All in all I can't really find a weakness besides "PYT" which is mediocre. Luckily "Wonderwall" picks it right back up and kills the album with a bang. I look forward to more” HipHopHampsterWhat's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
