Brilliancy's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

T.I. T.I. - “King on the Set”

“Heard this song the other day, and was dissapointed I couldn't get it on my iPod yet =[. Right now I like it. It doesn't seem like a mega hit right now, but I need to listen to it a few more times before I can make my final judgement.”

K. Sparks K. Sparks - “Microphone Fiend”

“This is pretty good. I'm not crazy about the chorus. This is the first time I've heard Sparks or Pay$0z, and I like what I'm hearing. 4 stars.”

Reason
Reason - “Life of a Star”

“I agree with Z. This song would be a lot better live. Not bad though. Not sure what to say really. 3.5 stars.”

Jay-Z Jay-Z - “Empire State of Mind”

“This song is amazing. I heard this the other day during the MTV Video Awards (Lol Kanye) and...wow. I am surprised he didn't bring another rapper from NY on this one. Once this song gets big I expect a remix with a few other people. 5 stars.”

Kevin Cossom Kevin Cossom - “I Get Money (Remix)”

“Acutally a lot better than I expected, the cliched title hoodwinked me lol. This is a song that could really benefit from a deep voiced rapper like Gorilla Zoe or Gucci Mane instead of "Drizzy". Drake wasn't terrible, but I honestly feel he was outdone here. Cossum absolutely killed it on the chorus. Good song, I'll be playing it in rotation. If he makes another version with someone such as Gucci or Zoe, it could really be big. Third time's the charm, right? This one has potential though. 4 stars.”
