Ginger37's TOP ALBUMS

Normalcy Promo Photo Charles Hamilton - “Normalcy”

“I'm sorry Nathan, but I have to disagree with you on this one. I believe that Charles could not have returned with a better mixtape. He channels his anger into tracks in which he needs to, but returns with the light-hearted lyrical genius we all know and love. These are not album tracks, yes we can all agree, and not album production of course, but we can agree, as a mixtape selection, every song on here is perfect to touch all the bases of Hamilton's current thoughts. His lyrics are humurous and complex. He picks themes for songs but puts variation in them to allow variety in his style, to not hinder his performance by forcing himself to stick to one topic. Yes, I do agree he could be more on-track, but that's not why I have downloaded Sonic's mixtapes. I like the random line from out of nowhere that makes you go "wait, what, where'd that come from." The only reason that Charles is 1 star away from perfection is this ego in which he is a genius that overrules the rest of "the game's" rappers. Charles displays the aura of originality, I agree we don't need to hear it in every song, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is the best mixtape of 2010 so far.I'm hoping for a year of 20Hamil10 and everyone else should be too.”

Tha Connect Promo Photo Willy Northpole - “Tha Connect”

“Willy northpole has an unmatched flow. Of course some lines may sound below acceptable but there any many other rappers that fall to the same demise. In the end willy debuts a fire-filled album that shows the reason he's with dtp in the first place. Hoping to hear more fire tracks like Body Marked Up and to see him with more Ludacris,”
