THE A.J. Crew's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Deuces Promo Photo Chris Brown - “Deuces”

“The first time I heard this was watching the music video for this (which attests to the importance of a good viral video), and I was surprised by the song being actually quite great. Tyga might need a little soul-searching to truly find his one dominant style, but I will say that all the best MCs are adaptable and versatile, which he is. Great effort from Tyga and C-Breezy... deuces.”

Miss Me Promo Photo Drake - “Miss Me”

“"Drake, you got em, right?" "Yeah, I got em, Bun..." #banger. Loving this production. Weezy outshines Drake to me on this one. Even though Drizzy had that classic "Do Right And Kill Everything" line.”

TIghtrope (Wondamix) Promo Photo Janelle Monáe - “TIghtrope (Wondamix)”

“Very dope remix. B.o.B always seems to show out on his verse on the strangest songs (i.e. Bruno Mars - "The Other Side") but I'm feeling this remix a lot.”

G.R.I.N.D. (Get Ready It's a New Day) Promo Photo Asher Roth - “G.R.I.N.D. (Get Ready It's a New Day)”

“I think Asher was always like this to a certain extent, but the singles chosen from "Asleep" didn't reflect that. But this is a great first single. I applaud.”

Wale Wale - “Letter”

“You all should know that Rhymefest has a version of this song as well as Wale. Both couldn't clear the John Mayer sample. Both are/were(?) involved with Allido so there has been interest in this specific situation as it could be lowkey industry discrepancies causing both versions of this song to be unreleased...”
