Voli Voli - “Fade Away”

“the track which got me hook up on him was his "redemption freesytle". while i didn't enjoy his last offering "turbo" that much, this track here is just on point. as b.o.b. would say it, voli put his pain, his heart, his soul, his faith in this. voli is definitely one of my favourite new artists and i'm excited about hearing more from him in the future!”

Aion Clarke Aion Clarke - “I'm Coming”

“It's definitely not the strongest effort from "The Leaks", it gets outshone by "Do you right" and "Love Affair", but still solid as hell. Yet again, just like with Sterling Simms' "Scream", I can't understand how people can call this an average vocal performance. If you're not impressed by his vocals, you should check out his version of "Kiss from A Rose". Nevertheless, I hope to see some more Aion Clarke featured on this site in the future, he definitely has potential.”

matza's TOP ALBUMS

Raymond v Raymond Promo Photo Usher - “Raymond v Raymond”

“there you go, OMG @ Billboad Top 100 spot 1. so the album finally has it's deserved number 1 single, but imo not the best song though....more honestly, i really hate it. it's poor man's pop music...but whatever, it sells and that's what seems to be the most important thing these days..”

Still Standing Promo Photo Monica - “Still Standing”

“i was really really surprised by this album. i didn't expect it to be that extremly good as it is. what probably makes it so good is mostly the selection of producers. i mean, you just can't go wrong with JD or b.cox. jd takes her singing on another level on 'Love All Over Me', though the snare is a little bit disturbing. furthermore we have a typical L.O.S beat, nothing more to add. and the beat that surprised me the most was jim jonsin's 'Mirror', which doesn't end up in his usual hi-hat massacre which he tends to do on slower songs (just listen to 'This Is Us' by Backstreet Boys, 'I Want You To Be My Girl' by Johnta Austion, or most recently 'Make Love (Into the Night) by Usher. imo the hi-hat in the chrouses doesn't fit to any of these songs.) but that's another story. i could write more about this great female r&b-album, which i am usually not into, but i'll just say: 4.5 rounded up”
