Asher Roth - “Asleep In The Bread Aisle”
“Asher Roth's debut album "Asleep in the Bread Aisle" is a fantastic album, with cleverly worded and metaphoric tracks that efficiently embody who Roth is as a rapper and what he believes in. If the album had produced 13 great songs, rather than 3 hits, 7 good ones, and 3 bombers, I would have given it 5 stars. But overall, even though I am a white suburban kid like Asher himself, the album allows most hip-hop fans (those who are open to new talent rather than the same-old same-old) to fall in love with the new age rapper and his creative style and personality.” Schleigz's Rating:
