gReeni's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Fantasia Barrino Fantasia Barrino - “Even Angels”

“This show Fantasia has complete control over her voice. Her breathy vocals work great with the productions displaying great passion yet restraint. Good job Fanny”

Melanie Fiona Melanie Fiona - “It Kills Me”

“im so late with this but this song is the definition of inner love struggle and it comes off so well she deals with contemplation very well and lines her emotions out in ABC order definately a classic joint”

Alicia Keys Alicia Keys - “Empire State of Mind Pt. 2 (Broken Down)”

“Alicia is pretty much one (if not only) of the many artist who can just record a song with just her and the piano and it just be this engaging and just pure good. the thing about a broken down/stripped song is it's recorded without adjustments to the vocals so that the pitchs are perfect thus we get the raw echo sounding sounds but this is def better than the original”

Alicia Keys Alicia Keys - “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart”

“she always going outside of her box to make a different sound. she never tries to recapture the same thing twice because that don't make hits these days this song tho something i woulda neva thought she would have done is a winner tho”

Keri Hilson Keri Hilson - “I Like”

“Yo this is the best track I've ever heard from Ms. Keri. This doesn't need powerful vocals nor tricky metaphors or lyrics she proves she can write a classic track for herself...i just wish she wrote something like this for her entire album...guess we'll have to wait for round 2. Outstanding track.”

gReeni's TOP ALBUMS

The Element of Freedom Promo Photo Alicia Keys - “The Element of Freedom”

“This is the reason why Alicia is still relevant and will become an icon...each time she comes out she's not affraid to try something different she's always changing her style with each album and never scared to try something different. She distinguishes her sound with each and every album and this is why people like me love her”

Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel Promo Photo Mariah Carey - “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”

“This album is hot. I think Mariah actually focused on making music her fans would enjoy rather than the lastest radio trends. I believe she paid homage to her "Vision Of Love" roots with this album so good work from her.”

Epiphany Promo Photo Chrisette Michele - “Epiphany”

“From the first time i heard her on Nas Can't Forget About You...i knew she was destined to be great and this album is the epidemy of great. I love how she decided she wanted to go for a more youthful pop sound but remain rooted to the sultry jazz style that i fell in love with. Blame It On Me and All I Ever Think About are the type of songs that are timeless. Love her and love this album”
