djblaze's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Prodigy Prodigy - “Great Spitters”

“I like Prodigy's Fast flow on this track. It caught me a bit off-guard, but in a good way. Havoc did a great job with this beat too. Cory Gunz sounds good on here. I like the collaboration. Good work. BANGER!”

Chiddy Bang Chiddy Bang - “By Your Side”

“Excellent beat and sample by the production team. I can't stop nodding my head to the beat and the flow of Chiddy Bang. This has swag! I think this is a BANGER!”

The Meaning Promo Photo I-20 - “The Meaning”

“This is a raw beat by DJ Sick 1. It reminds me of when the NYC Mixtapes were the $hit back in like 03 (Shoutout to Big Mike & Green Lantern). I like I-20's gritty flow. Definitely a Hustler's-Banger!”

Action Bronson Action Bronson - “Dear Heather”

“This is sick right here. I like the smooth production by Martin and Macie Stewart had good vocals. Action and Rockie did the beat justice. BANGER!”

djblaze's TOP ALBUMS

Take Care Promo Photo Drake - “Take Care”

“It took me a really long time to do this review, even though I had the album leak about a week before it dropped. Now that I've listened to the album at least 10 times all the way through, I can safely say that this is a 4.5-star CLASSIC album that will continue to be played for years and years to come. This album has a taste of everything for everyone, for almost every different situation or mood that can come about in life. These are the types of albums that 10yrs from now you can break out of the closet and just put it in. There are only about 2 tracks that I will fast forward out of the whole bunch, and its not because they are bad songs, but just because I've played them to death. This is a great overall album and I continue to be impressed with Drizzy's style, flow, and musical abilities on this album. I'll be bumping this for a while... Great album and almost perfect...”

Ambition Promo Photo Wale - “Ambition”

“I think this album shows that Wale has improved as an MC and he has a good range of tracks to showcase his talent. I was definitely sleeping on Wale before he came to MMG, but this is a very good album. I put many of the joints on repeat. This will be bumping in my MP3 for months to come. Good work overall. Not a classic album, but definitetly SOLID!”

Tha Carter IV Promo Photo Lil Wayne - “Tha Carter IV”

“I took my sweet time rating this one as well because I feel you need to listen to the music many times before you can give your observation. Having said that, I thought this album was actually better after the first couple of spins than it is now. I feel that some of the songs are easily skipped and the rest of them can go on repeat. I really liked Abortion, Interlude, She will, Nightmares, Megaman, Blunt Blowin, and How to love the most. Most of the others can be skipped. Other than that, the highs are high enough for me to make it a Banger. I too thought it would be better, but still a good outing and one that I don't think will jeopardize his credibility as one of the best in the game.”
