Das Racist - Sit Down, Man

“hahahaha jk? is an anthem, cementing the deconstructionist style of das racist. The pizza hut/taco bell recording was only a preview of what they could really do. With "Sit down, Man" they provide an album with a different frame of reference from the standard hip-hop point of view (and with ease). They play with the standard hip-hop archetypes, from eminem to tribe. This group is able to blend 4chan culture, early 90's' rap, with a nod to the difficulties of race in modern American society.”
