6 Foot 7 Foot Promo Photo Lil Wayne - “6 Foot 7 Foot”

“I'm gonna be honest...though I doubt many of you care at all...I'm closer to the side of rating Weezy as "overhyped and overrated" than the side of "Best Rapper Alive". But this verse is what he always does, and he does it pretty well: punchlines that can make you laugh. Bangladesh came through on the beat that sounded like a cross between 'a millie' 'im mikey' and 'whip yo hair'. Much better than the mediocre beats he was dropping earlier this year (anyone hear the bland Tongues, with R Kelly and Luda??) This would be a two or three star if not for Corey Gunz destroying the track with a second half of concentrated awesomeness. Gunz used to drop the punchline filled slower flow, but this exemplified his versatility and turned alot of heads. Im impressed. Considering he is the new signee featured on the track, he carries it pretty impressively.”

DJ Premier DJ Premier - “5%”

“this is a track hip hop has needed. Badly. Premier is unparalleled in his sampling and consistency. Sure his beats have a formula, but fuck does that formula work. KRS is perfect on a beat like this, It would have been an insult to rap music to put a young gun like wayne on a track like this. Maybe if rappers started "third eye seeing", the game would be in a better state.”

T.I. T.I. - “Welcome to the World”

“this is the first hype track T.I. has released in toooo long. Songs like this make me depressed he had to get locked up again. He and Kanye both went hard with there verses- and it's nice to see Cudi back where he should be- making sick hooks and bridges. Whoever told him he should be dropping full verses didnt see where he really shines. Great beat too, the tempo is perfect for the MC's on it.”

Eminem Eminem - “Living Proof”

“Royce has been consistently dope for a long time, and he proves it again here. This is a new decade, and a new Marshall Mathers- in comparison to his old stuff i have not been blown away by his recent stuff, but he flowed well on the tempo of this beat”
