Pitbull - “Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)”
“nice club banger by "Mr 305" but then again, what else would you expect from Pitbull? He is one of the best at making a great song for the club! I would say him, T-Pain and Lil Jon are the kings of the club. This should get a log of spins on local radio as well, Pitbull is ruling the airwaves on local radio here in the Milwaukee area, between Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin In Love" and Enrique's "I Like It" I am hearing more of Pitbull than ever before! Not that that is a bad thing.” Nathan W.'s Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Bruno Mars - “Just the Way You Are”
“I think Bruno is poised to take over the world of Hip Hop/R&B very soon. The features on the B.o.B. track and the Travie McCoy track were just the tip of the iceberg for this young man. With his first solo single, Just The Way You Are, he smashes it again! I was a little skeptical as to whether a track with just him singing would be as good as his featured performances and this song proved that it is, maybe even more so! I am definitely gonna cop Doo-Wops & Hooligans when it comes out, can't wait!” Nathan W.'s Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

T.I. - “Pledge Allegiance to the Swag”
“I am really feelin this track! J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League put together a bagin beat and T.I. just straight killed it! I agree that the term "swag" is way overdone these days, but coming from T.I. it doesn't feel cheesy or gimmicky. This is a song I will definitely be bumpin for a while!” Nathan W.'s Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Chris Brown - “Deuces”
“I've been a big fan of Chris Brown since the first time I heard "Run It" back in '05 and even after the Rihanna incident I did my best to separate person from performer and supported him. With that being said, I thought he fell off with his "Graffiti" album and was extremely disappointed with it. Which is exactly why when I stumbled upon his "In My Zone" mixtape I immediately downloaded it in hopes of the "old c breezy" that I knew and loved from his first two offerings. I was pleasantly surprised with what I heard. I then heard he released yet another mixtape with Young Money up-and-comer Tyga and quickly downloaded that as well. I have to tell you, this has to be some of the best work Chris has done in a while. The beats are sick, the vocals are on point, Tyga's lyrics are incredible...even Chris was spittin some fire on the mixtape! I remember hearing that Chris originally wanted to be a rapper but after his mom heard him singing she urged him to follow a singing career instead, even though he was flowin pretty good I definitely think that singing is his strong point. Ok, as for this single, it is so infectious and catchy! I hear this song and it gets stuck in my head for weeks! The beat is straight fire and Breezy's delivery of "DEUCES!" on the hook will have you singing it either in your head or out loud (in my case it will be in my head, nobody wants to hear me sing, trust me lol) I actually put together a mix of songs from "In My Zone" and "Fan of a Fan" to create my own play list which I entitled "Fan of My Fan's Zone" (cheesy or brilliant? you decide) the playlist is: "Turnt Up", "Too Freaky", "Convertible", "Big Booty Judy", "No Bullshit" and "Glow In The Dark" from "In My Zone" and "What They Want", "Drop Top Girl", "Deuces", "48 Bar Rap", "Ballin", "Have It", "G Shit" and "Holla At Me" from "Fan of a Fan"” Nathan W.'s Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Donnis - “Fashionably Late”
“I thought that this mixtape was pretty solid all around. I think Donnis is definitely very talented and there were a few tracks where I found myself saying "wow...this guy is gonna blow up big" but on other tracks I was like "wow...what the heck is he DOING" so I came away a little confused which I think is a result of Donnis himself possibly a little confused and still trying to find his voice. I agree with Nathan S. in that "Lighting" for me was the strongest track on the mixtape and that is the direction he should go. I think Colin Munroe killed the hook on that one! I also really like Outta Here ft Tony Williams and the Country Cool Remix with Yelawolf (who absolutely MURDERED that beat btw) I honestly didn't see any weak spots in this entire mixtape. The only weak track was Vampire but its technically an Interlude, but even that track wasn't HORRIBLE but I agree that he should stick to rapping and not sing again. I've thrown this mixtape on in my Jeep while running errands on my day off and just let it ride without skipping a single track and not been tempted to skip to the next track once and just vibe and jam out the whole time! I have it on constant rotation in my iPod at the gym as well...its a banger fa sho!” Nathan W.'s Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
