Method Man & Redman - “A Yo! ft. Saukrates”
“Ah my prayers are finally answered. Both Meth and Red are great on their own, but when they get together watch out! Blackout was one of my favorite albums for a long time and if this is any indication of the second album I am really looking forward to it. Great chemistry, great production, and great rhymes. Now all they need to do is release How High 2” DJ Qurlz's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Twista - “No Love ft. The Game”
“I am definitely liking the West Coast feel of this song. I haven't commented in a long time, but I had to ask what is up with all the sampling of Spice 1 instrumentals lately? It took me a second to realize why I fell in love with the production instantly. It's because this is Trigga Gots No Heart from Menace II Society. On a sidenote Nipsey Hu$$le's last song was sampling Spice's song Face Of A Desperate Man . If you don't know who Spice 1 is go to the store and by one his cd's right now (I don't care if the store is closed, you better break in and leave an I-Owe-You note).” DJ Qurlz's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Common - “Universal Mind Control ft. Pharrell Williams”
“As a big fan of Common I have been looking forward this new album since it was announced. It's definitely got a Bambaatta feel to it which is something I haven't heard in a while. Common comes hard as always and even switches up his flow on this one. In a way I was glad to see that Common wouldn't be working with Kanye on this album. Don't get me wrong they are a great pair, but working with different producers can be refreshing and that is made clear with this song. The question I have now is what will be the rest of the album's "sound." No matter what I will be picking up a copy on the first day.” DJ Qurlz's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Crooked I - “Dream Big ft. Akon”
“Crooked I is a lyrical God despite not having a studio album released yet. For those that don't know check out the hip hop weekly series or any of his mixtapes. On this track Crooked I has a bulletproof flow as usual, great production and even some support from Akon. What more could you need. I can't wait for the album to finally drop. Don't sleep on this dude he's one of the best in the game right now.” DJ Qurlz's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
