Burmy's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Shady 2.0 Cypher (Uncut) Promo Photo Eminem - “Shady 2.0 Cypher (Uncut)”

“Blaze, why'd you have to derail the train?”

HAM Extreme Promo Photo Freeway - “HAM Extreme”

“Note to artists: THIS is how you evolve! Freeway's improved his lyricism and flow ability with every song on the booth...this is just EPIC. (I even like how he's noted that he himself doesn't eat ham, but can still make plenty on the mic). The beat is a banger, too...Young L's come a LOOONG way since that "Vans". At this point, I believe it's safe to say "Diamond in the Ruff" is the most anticipated independent hip-hop album of 2011...anybody else concur?”

How Many Times Promo Photo K. Michelle - “How Many Times”

“@Neil_Shae_2411, so vocal tone is enough to knock it down to a 2? Personally, I LOVE this combination! She's gonna make it BIG-this will finally be "that hit"”

Burmy's TOP ALBUMS

Boss of all Bosses Promo Photo Slim Thug - “Boss of all Bosses”

“Even though Slim's lyricism is not (and will likely never be) top level, that's not really what he's aiming for. His bravado and swagger (which he's had before it became so overuses) over banging underground beats are what made him so big in H-Town and the Dirty South. Already Platinum - Not really him. Boss of All Bosses - REALLY HIM.”

Dope Promo Photo tabi Bonney - “Dope”

“Excellent review for an excellent album! As Z said, we're here to display some other definitions of success, and help bring fresh talent into the industry. P.S. When do you think we'll see that Rocky Fontaine Entourage mixtape I sent up there?”

Million Dollar Backpack Promo Photo Skillz - “Million Dollar Backpack”

“If Nathan S. had reviewed it, it would have been at least a 4. Skillz is one of the most underrated MCs of our time...he makes classics everywhere he goes thanks to his wordplay skill, his delivery, and his quick wit (all of which we've heard on the New Year's Eve "Rap-Up"s). We miss you Nathan!”
