“This is the one I've been waiting for Nathan to review!!!!! It was a solid review and hot some key points. The ONLY thing stopping me form giving this album 5 stars is the singing of Kanye which is kinda covered up by the autotune, although it has gotten better than when he was on Put On...I enjoyed this album ALOT more than i thought i would....but i am a HUGE Kanye fan, so I'll digress. My favorite songs on the album: 1.) Paranoid (A fun track) 2.) Street Lights (Seriously a GREAT track) 3.) See You In My Knightmares(Fun to listen to Wayne & Kanye) 4.) Robocop (Love the production) 5.) Amazing (Great Production)”

“Like Mr. Top Hat, T-Pain is my favorite artist out right now and the album confirms that. .................I dont think Nathan went deatiled enough into the album this time around but good review. This album is the dude album we men need. After all the "Busting Windows, Single Ladies, If I Were a Boy" type songs we need music like this. Songs like "It Aint Me" in which T.I. kills his verse and songs like "Therapy" in which Kanye holds his own. Reality Show is a feel-good joint that you can relax to. Alot people think that T-Pain makes music to compete with other R&B singers but he just makes music to make his listeners feel good. Changes is also one of those feel good joints. Although Epiphany is a more "complete" album this one has more hits and better songs. And Karaoke just puts the icing on the cake...its cool to see someone who can do everything....(produce, write, sing, rap, etc.) I would give this album a 4.7”

“I loved this album....definitely his best work since King. TI vs TIP was extremely disappointing and this album was a pleasant surprise to me. I think his lyricism is so good on this album. And it definitely is on the short list for best albums of 2008. Better than L.A.X., Tha Carter III, The Recession, Exit 13, Plies' junk, Trilla....etc. VERY GOOD ALBUM from top to bottom. Nathan, I think u underrated this one man. I would give it a 4.5. Rounded it 2 a 5.”

“Listened to Year of the Gentleman... i thought it was pretty good...not as good as Nathan thought but good nonetheless. It had its good and ok moments. Really liked "So U Can Cry", "Lie to Me", "Part of The List", and "Miss Independent" but then songs like "Stop this World" and "Single" that were kinda corny. I was REALLY disappointed that there was no "sex" song on the CD, and there were only like 3 upbeat songs on the CD. But the lyrics were great on the slow jams so it made up for the mellow undertone of the CD. Kinda like a better version of Usher's "Here I Stand" CD. I'd give it a 4...but with a nice bedroom joint and one more upbeat banger its a 5.”

“At my first listen i agreed with Nathans review but I've listened to this album about 5 times now and im starting to feel it alot. I wasnt feeling Doctors Advocate @ first either so first listens dont mean anything for me. I dont think its the classic we've been waiting for but i definitely think its a very solid album. On the same level as Tha Carter III. I dont think this is the album Game expected to make that's why he said he gonna do another album. lol And actually Gentleman's Affair is one of my favorite songs on the album next to Angel.”

“I'm really digging this album....A lot of Hip-Hop "purests" won't dig this one too much but people who are open-minded with music as a whole are gonna enjoy it. The first two songs "Diamond Life" and "Coconut Juice" are probably the two worst songs lyrically on the album. I really enjoy "Pillow Talk" and "2AM" as well as "Summertime". Cuz they say something to the listener. I wasn't expecting his flow to actually say something and it did. I can see a lot of his music being played on the MTV scene...and I don't even know why he was in the hood to get his chain snatched bcuz based on his music, that just isn't his crowd. But I will enjoy this album even though im a year and a half older than the youngin. lol”

“I listened to it and i would give it 3.75 rating so i rounded it up to a 4. The CD is alot better than their 1st attempt. Gets a little annoying after Damaged..but then comes Lights Out. That song is reason i gave it a 4 stars. Thats the best song they have ever made by far. If they make it a single it will be big.”
