Bullseye Promo Photo BIGREC - “Bullseye”

“It takes a big brother to rep two regions at the same time. BIGREC does that and then some while making his goal of bridging the youth and the elders a reality. Shoutout to him and Diamond D for this gem.”

“I can definitely see this working in the clubs. I love the fact that Wale kept it DMV and used Mark Henry production. This record will do exactly what it is supposed to do.”

Invisible Promo Photo Skylar Grey - “Invisible”

“I think the point is to let her stand on her own. I'm not trying to downgrade her presence on a hook but you can't keep talent like this confined to just being the "queen of hooks" for long. Adding a rapper would undoubtedly put her in rotation on more stations (how great is it that this is true) but I like that she is solo on this one. It matches the subject matter of the song too.”

Dear Boy Promo Photo Laws - “Dear Boy”

“I've been intrigued ever since I heard about the project. This track didn't disappoint. I actually feel the opposite about the pace switch though. It's all fire but I definitely prefer the beginning over the end.”

“This is a good SONG. You can just tell the bond between emcee and producer and it is a beautiful thing with nothing but angelic offspring. Really love the hook on this.”

Zion I Zion I - “Polarity”

“This track was my introduction to Zion I and I must say I'm impressed. Solid production that seems to mix a little old soul in with modern percussion. Lyrically the "selling their soul to hear me converse" line gets my vote for best bars. I'm downloading this joint.”

Ghostface Killah Ghostface Killah - “Together Baby”

“I was hooked in the first 15 seconds. The only thing I didn't love was the pitched down trailing overdubs in the first verse. I probably wouldn't have gone that route but I can live with it. On repeat!”
