Nobody Else (Remix) Promo Photo Yonas - “Nobody Else (Remix)”

“This might have been mentioned before, but damn I hear Tupac all over this track. From the concept, to Yonas's flow and lyrics, even the chorus adlibs. Obviously not the entire track, but am I alone here? Anyways, nice track, 3.5.”

Joan of Arc Promo Photo Ryan Leslie - “Joan of Arc”

“R. Les has stepped into the Hip-Hop arena as of late, with three out of three new tracks to be released off "Les is More" are filled with him spittin. The release date of the album was mentioned by himself several times at his show in San Francisco, which happens to be July 4. I'm not a "super-fan" by any means, but I have incredible respect for what this dude does musically. The other couple tracks from the album can be found on his YouTube channel: "Breathe" and "Maybachs and Diamonds."”

“I might stand alone here, but the way 40 sets the tone for a real R&B singer to kill this beat is undeniable. Drake's creativity on tracks like this usually catch my attention, but Jamie sounds great.”

The Show Goes On Promo Photo Lupe Fiasco - “The Show Goes On”

“Damn good job by Lupe here. Doesn't stray away from his style, but caters to this beat by simplifying his rhymes a bit to appeal to a larger audience. This can be an enormous hit.”

K. Sparks K. Sparks - “Black Magic”

“I'll be honest, the hype surrounding Sparks is so enormous it feels like people give his tracks nothing less than 4 stars to avoid being called crazy. I'm not a hater in ANY way, but I almost passed on this one. I immediately regret that thought ever passing my mind after I pressed play.”
