J The S - “Put My Cape On”
“This song is ridiculous. Usually I can put into words why I feel the music I do, but this track rendered me speechless on so many different levels. Actually, to be honest, his entire new album did. Classic.” world1love's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

J The S - “Oil ft. Saigon & Rich Rivera”
“This is one of his best tracks. And the hook is anything BUT annoying. And for people who hate political songs, maybe the world wouldn't need them if yall weren't supporting artists who rap about nothing but bagging girls, getting $, and shootin each other. The fight in Iraq has been and continues to be about power, religion, and yes oil. Gas prices are a byproduct...it's deeper than that, c'mon yall. Read up.” world1love's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

J The S - “Change [Premiere]”
“I give it 4 stars for several reasons: 1. The message is there. Too many emcees are rapping about inconsequential crap that doesn't teach our youth to go any way but down. 2. The singing flow may need some work, but it's raw and that's missing from tracks these days. It's real. There could be more passion there. 3. Emcees shouldn't rely on beats, they should be supplemental. If not, the beat is what makes a hot track and the flow over it doesn't mean a thing and too many emcees get away with that these days. This beat may be simple, and granted more depth would kick it up, but that doesn't mean it isn't hot. There's nothing worse than a track that loses the raw passion because of overproduction. My only critique is that J the S needs to come out more on this track. The hook dominated a little too much. But all that said, I like what I hear and I will be sure to pass it on.” world1love's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
