John Legend John Legend - “Free Mason”

“Hova, Ross and John Legend...it would have been hard to mess this one up.”

Paul Wall Paul Wall - “Live It”

“Paul Wall is one of those artists that confuses me. For some reason I always expect him to put out garbage yet he has not proved me wrong in a while. This is a great example of it. Jay, Raekwon and Yela all have great assists and the people's champ comes through strong as well.”

DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love Promo Photo Usher - “DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love”

“Great song for the club, has the new electro-pop feel to it which people are eating up right now. Pitubll was a great addition and Usher does what he does best. I am sure the video for this will be along the lines or "Yeah," has the same vibe.”

Rick Ross Rick Ross - “Maybach Music 3”

“These songs have become Ross's go to songs for the collaborations. I like that he is reaching out to new artists on each cut. This one is another great addition. T.I. puts up another spectacular verse (possibly the best of the bunch). Jada adds his own work but nothing classic. Erykah Badu is a unexpected yet very welcome edition while the bawse also kicks it up. Overall Hov's verse on the original still ranks the best but that is one hell of a verse to beat.”

Love the Way You Lie Promo Photo Eminem - “Love the Way You Lie”

“Definitely a very strong song that has loads of potential on the radio. Eminem and pop fans will both be able to enjoy this song without feel like they are selling out. Rihanna just puts the perfect touch on the hook and Mr Mathers brings the heat on his verses. Is this a big song? Hell yes. Is this going to be THAT big, possibly but I just don't see it becoming one of his best, he has too many top caliber songs already (can you even consider that a problem?). So when is B.o.B. going to hop on part 2?”

Ya Hear Me Promo Photo T.I. - “Ya Hear Me”

“Something a bit different from the king. Every time I see a new T.I. song drop I wonder if this is going to be the next big radio single. This definitely is not it but just the fact that it isn't your typical T.I. song makes it better. Like Z said, my expectations for the album are really high and I haven't heard anything that has blown me away but at the same time I haven't heard a single garbage song yet from him since he has gotten out. The way I see it, we are seeing all solo songs from T.I. (outside of Got Your Back) and he is waiting to drop the collaborations more towards the release and those will be big. I know he has been working with Eminem, Gaga, and Swizzy just to name a few. So the way I see it, he is just showing he can still do solo work and re-proving himself to the hip-hop heads of state. The big stuff is on the way (I hope!) Overall a solid song from the king.”
