YelaWolf - Trunk Muzik
“Pretty dope! And this is what he is giving away for free, i can't wait to hear his real shit. This actually sounds better than most cd's that came out last year from signed rappers. He is killin it on "Good To Go". "Pop The Trunk" is a hard story joint (that's missing in rap right now). "Love is Not Enough" he actually pays homage to Devin The Dude's "anythang" (me likey). "Lick the Cat Ft Diamond" isn't really for me, but my girl liked it and I admit the line "..Mike Phelps all around in it/back stroke, butterfly have u on the bed scramblin.." is funny (makes sense in context). The main thing is that YelaWolf seems to be a real MC which is a title that's been lost on most of these "trapper rapper's" of today and the beats are good on the computer but great in the car (Oh, I get it..TrunkMuzik is a concept)...which leads me to believe he or they thought about this before they just randomly but 40 songs out, threw some Screamin DJ, some rewinds, or some bombs droppin and called it a mixtape. I hope to hear some of Yelawolf's stuff on the radio this year (hopefully, "Good To Go FT,. Bun B"-I'm sure we can do without just 1 Atlanta club song so that people can hear this dude.
