Epiphany - Such Is Life
“This album is dope from beginning to end. If you are short on time, make sure you check out the intro and track 2..that will give you enough of a reminder to come back and check out the whole thing...track 11 is another standout...also track 6....track 9...track 13...track 5...well i wont list everything because then it defeats the purpose...but it really is dope front to back...and check the end of track 15....classic” bdot's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Arkansas Bo - Skill Zone Vol. 1
“The evolution of this mixtape on DJ Booth was interesting because we had originally planned to put out a completely different mixtape through DJ Booth..a redux of a collection of 70's inspired tracks called "I Know Dat's Right." At this same time, Bo and K-Dub were in the studio recording Skill Zone. DJ Z heard it and was interested in putting it out. Since at the time, I was wrapped up with "I Know Dat's Right," I still hadn't got the chance to really check out Skill Zone. So Bo came to me and said he wanted to roll with Skill Zone through DJ Booth before the year was up and I took a minute to give it a listen. The first thing that hit me was Skill Zone was unlike a typical mixtape because it had original production. I immediately wanted to put it out as well because it would be one of the first chances we got to show off Bo's song writing ability to original tracks. Prior to this, everything we have released on a major scale digitally has been mixtape type tracks over jacked beats. Skill Zone is classic Bo...reflective, hungry, humorous, honest...all at the same time. We arent making any money from this so you can at least trust your boy when I advise you to take out 30 min from your day and stream this through your headphones while you are at the crib or the job. If you aren't a fan at the end of that 30 min, then listen to it again and change your opinion.” bdot's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Arkansas Bo (of Suga City) - The Notebook
“Biased as always but it doesnt change the fact that The Notebook is fire. Bo offers an in-depth picture of the various things that make him who he is...from his southern upbringing that bred his style, to the experience with racism that gave rise to his social consciousness, to his experiences in gang life, Bo manages to provide deep, light-hearted, witty and serious commentary all at the same time.” bdot's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
