Chain Heavy Promo Photo Kanye West - “Chain Heavy”

“This is my favorite good friday song. Everything feels and sounds right on this one. All of the verses were solid, especially the one from Talib, who showed that he still has it in a big way. Could Kanye sign Kweli next for a Good music Blackstar reunion, i can only pray...4.5 stars”

The Joy Promo Photo Kanye West - “The Joy”

“Unfortunately, the parts of this song are individually greater than the whole. This song shines at times, but fails to connect overall musically and seems to lack a real melody. I love Curtis Mayfield, he is what pharell pretends to be (minus the skateboards), so its good to see him get some shine, although his name should be in giant print on the top billin. A bit lethargic, and Cudi's input was completely unnecessary, at least give him a verse, but i love what this song is trying to be.”

Runaway Promo Photo Kanye West - “Runaway”

“I am really in live with this beat. This is not the deepest song by any means, but it has been stuck in my head since the vmas. Apparently Kanye has graduated from his past works and is now simply a Scholar you is using his knowledge to the best of his ability. Its great to hear Pusha on here, although he sounds kinda alone without mal. I don't care if kanye doesnt have a commercial single, he is making quality music thatis like nothing else out there.”

Big K.R.I.T Big K.R.I.T - “My Interpretation”

“For rating #420, it seems appropriate that I am burnin one while listening to a song by Big K.R.I.T. What is great about Krizzle is that he doesn't need to talk about the typical smoking, drinking, party and bullsh!t, but he easily could if he wanted. My interpretation is KRIT's production is so good that he is gonna make it one way or another, he spits like a preacher and his lyrics are real. It's hard not to feel him.”
