Thank Me Later Promo Photo Drake - “Thank Me Later”

“Ironically signing with Wayne caused the only GOD could make a album 2 meet the expectations of this album as I have said about The Carter III people expected every beat 2 be mind boggling & every line 2 be line of the year & if it was anything less it was gonna be a instant disappointment so it was impossible 2 just make good music & not care about critics & he did with So Far Gone Jay Eminem & Nas combined in their primes could'nt have made a album that would have stood up 2 the expectations that Drake created in a little under 1 1/2 year that took Wayne 3 years 2 create no artist in history ever has or will be able 2 please every Hip-Hop fan at the same time its just impossible so I knew this album wasn't goin 2 be well received as it should be & its a shame that people are so hypocritical biased & nitpick every little detail & cast things off if it's not "new" Drake kind of burned himself out 2 an extent like a new trend(Spinners,Braids,Skinny Jeans etc.) & any other trend that got so overdone that the sight of it turned people off but newer artist such as J.Cole will get more love 4 the simple fact that they have'nt been overexposed people love 2 be different & because Drake is the hot new thing that everybody is talkin about people don't like Drake & prefer something else just because its different than what everybody else likes. I think Drake would be in a better position if he followed Luda's pre-album blueprint just a few hot guest verses maybe 1 mixtape & consistently hot singles then I think people would be more tolerable of him & less expecting look at Raekwon's OBFCL2 & Nas & Damian Marley Distant Relatives those albums barely got any promotion & are widely considered classics not sayin TML is good as those or a classic just pointin out less expectations & hype give artist a better scale 2 be properly & fairly rated look at So Far Gone pretty much no expectations or hype & look at the critical acclaim it got my last 2 points are nothing will ever be good as the 1st taste name anything that has a sequel(s) & tell me the sequel is better than the original... there is nothing! 1st impressions are everything & everything you do after that will be compared 2 that so Thank Me Later wasn't gonna be as good as So Far Gone for that fact. Lastly a album will never be as good as a mixtape because your free 2 do whatever on a mixtape there is no expectation no "If I don't sell Ima get dropped from my label pressure" no over analyzation of the lyrics no "This defines my legacy so I gotta write my best lyrics pressure" people just take it 4 what it is & appreciate the music that's how it should be 4 albums but sadly its not & everything that I mentioned wasn't in effect 4 mixtapes is in effect 4 albums 2 the Maximum & that diminishes the quality of the music imo because tryin 2 satisty label execs that know nothing about the music radio DJ's that don't care about quality of music just how danceable it is & what's hot right now those 2 factors don't allow artist 2 be themselves & diminishes the music & makes cookie cutter songs that only last 2-3 months at the most instead of lettin artist make timeless music money is the blessing & the curse of Hip-Hop so its not all artist fault that albums & mixtapes are in 2 different worlds & you can't blame Drake for Thank Me Later not being as good as So Far Gone”
