Rocki Evans - More Songs About Girls
“This is definitely worth the download. You're in for some smooth vocals, unique beats, and some production that reminded me of the time when techno beats were all the rage. In "Fantastic," There's some great vocal work on display...really upbeat and youthful. It goes perfectly with some spacy synth, guitar flourishes, and an equally upbeat bass line. This reminds me of a Jackson Five song... "Mr. Heartbreaker" is super catchy, and almost instantly had me nodding my head, although the singing here isn't as great, and seems somewhat muffled and distorted. In "She's a Star," a slower but deliberate beat, along with some synth string in the background, although it does seem to blend together with the vocals. That's not necessarily a bad thing though- just don't ask me remember the lyrics The silky smooth vocals take center stage in "Shape of my Heart", backed up by a simple beat...guys, your girl's gonna love this. Definitely check this out (Although I wish the outro was a complete song...I wanted more!).” grimm's Rating:
