Voli Voli - “Fade Away”

“the track which got me hook up on him was his "redemption freesytle". while i didn't enjoy his last offering "turbo" that much, this track here is just on point. as b.o.b. would say it, voli put his pain, his heart, his soul, his faith in this. voli is definitely one of my favourite new artists and i'm excited about hearing more from him in the future!”

Aion Clarke Aion Clarke - “I'm Coming”

“It's definitely not the strongest effort from "The Leaks", it gets outshone by "Do you right" and "Love Affair", but still solid as hell. Yet again, just like with Sterling Simms' "Scream", I can't understand how people can call this an average vocal performance. If you're not impressed by his vocals, you should check out his version of "Kiss from A Rose". Nevertheless, I hope to see some more Aion Clarke featured on this site in the future, he definitely has potential.”

“great song, nothing more to add. side note: it is said to be prouduced by Song Dynasty, just like some other recent leaks, for example "Keep It 100"”

“Nicki's best verse, the alternative production which balances on the thin line between catchy and annoying along with the arguable chorus plus Charlie Wilson singing 2 or 3 lines at the end of the song = 5 stars. This has a similar pattern compared to Power though. The chorus hits in before you even know it's actually the chorus and a breakdown towards the end with a catchphrase.”

Can't Be Friends Promo Photo Trey Songz - “Can't Be Friends”

“I'm quite sure that, against Z's hopes, his new album will contain songs like LOL. For me, "Bottoms Up" is to put in the same box; the anti-singing, money-yearning hip-pop-box usher has recently taken over. Unlike this song, which is definitely one of hist best vocal-performances surrounded by a as smooth as ever laid down M.Winans-Production. If he teams up with B.Cox again, even if only for one song, I'll be looking forward to September 14th.”

Sterling Simms Sterling Simms - “Scream”

“his vocal abilities may not allow him to lay down a high-ranged performance, but what counts most for me is the passion in a singer's vocals. which means that i appreciate it the most when you can literally feel the lyrics supported by the artist and backed up by the beat. considering this interpretation the song is a solid effort. it might the best contribution i've heard from sterling so far and for sure one of the better slowjams of the last few months. worth mentioning is Brandon Hines' "Steady" of his "In Search Of...LP"”

Statistics Promo Photo Lyfe Jennings - “Statistics”

“ah damn, Lyfe's back on track <3 he's a musical genius imo. he's able to lay down catchy songs which also have a serious background. not many artits out there are capable of doing it. I'm really looking forward to his next album, can't wait!”
