White Kix's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Jori King Jori King - “Love at First Sight”

“Good song all around. Nice track and good vocals. But, I swear I've heard that guitar/harp loop somewhere else. I look forward to hearing more from Jori.”

Jaicko
Jaicko - “Fast Forward”

“This is a solid pop record. Not timeless, but should get some spins.”

Collie Buddz Collie Buddz - “Phone Call”

“This reminds me of some mid 90's Carribbean Rythms with Rachel type Reggae.”

Sammie Sammie - “Wake Up”

“Not as good as his first single "I Like", but a very good slow jam.”

Jennifer Lopez Jennifer Lopez - “Loboutins”

“That synth is simple, but it gives the track a great vibe. And those horns kill it. Part of the first verse seems to be lacking, but it's still decent. The bridge is amazing. I like the chorus. Even though it's repetitive, it has so much energy. I would recoomend on the chorus that they only repeat the line 3 times, and then add something different for the fourth. That way you keep the repitition, but you don't over use the one line.”

Papers Promo Photo Usher - “Papers”

“First, Usher does not belong in the club like some said. He has always excelled on the slow and mid-tempo jams (Think About You, Nice and Slow, You Remind Me, U Got It Bad, Burn, etc....). Second as far as the theme of the song, it is not about papers, it is about ending a relationship, and papers is the tool used to say it in a unique manner (Was Rihanna's Unbrella about actually about an unbrella, no). There are plenty of songs about break-ups that have been hits, and this should be no different.”

Othello & DJ Vajra
Othello & DJ Vajra - “Active Balanced (Remix)”

“No disrespect to the features, but it would have been 5 stars if Othello did every verse. The track has a great vibe to it, and Othello's flows never dissapoint.”

Seven
Seven - “Go Slow (DJ Premier Remix)”

“I just went to his webite, and the original sounds like up-beat Robin Thicke, which is good. The original is more my style, but both versions are great.”

Nina Sky Nina Sky - “Beautiful People”

“Good song, but I hope DJ Sammy is getting some cash from this song, because that is too close NC.”

Ryan Leslie Ryan Leslie - “You're Not My Girl”

“The beat gets 5 stars. Ryan can sing, but I don't like his voice, and the melody is just ok. If he gave this production to someone else, it could be an amazing song.”

Roscoe Umali - “Never Fallin' ”

“The track is hott (obviously since it was a hit already), and the verses keep the energy high.”

R. Kelly R. Kelly - “Number One”

“Not a fan of the hook (That sample is terrible), but the rest of the song make up for it.”

Logan de Gaulle
Logan de Gaulle - “Take Me Away”

“The production is hot. I don't mind the Auto-tune as much on dance tracks as I do R&B, but Tyrese has way too good of a voice to use it. Overall, song is still good because of the production.”

Ginuwine Ginuwine - “Trouble”

“G-Wine sang on that one. Being an R&B fan, I want to hear G sing, and have no desire to hear Bun B or any other rapper take time from G.”
