The DJ Booth… We never miss a beat…

joshL's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

1+1 Promo Photo Beyoncé - “1+1”

“Not something I usually hear at the DJBooth, so I had to adjust my ears for this one. Thankfully, I am a big r&b fan and my ears adjust quickly to the sound. In that case, this is an absolute burner! So so so much better than the first single.”

Body Work x F*ck My Brains Out Promo Photo The-Dream - “Body Work x F*ck My Brains Out”

“Yeah, epic is definitely the word in my book. I would consider giving both of these song classics individually so it's no surprise what my rating is combined.”

Wale Wale - “That Way”

“Lex Luger kind of surprised me going r&b on the beat. He does it well. As for Wale, I actually thought he had mad flow on this track and Ross wasn't bad, either. Jeremih was obviously the standout part of the track though, as it seems to me that all he does is kill ish!”

Rock City Rock City - “We On”

“Now, I have been a fan of Rock City since Losin' It, but I don't think I have heard another tune on that level until now. This absolutely bangs no question. Also, I am extremely stoked (as is a lot of other people) that Rock City has been released by Akon's label.”

Trouble Promo Photo Bei Maejor - “Trouble”

“Now this feels really awkard saying this, but this beat bangs. Simple, I know, but it has a lot of bounce. The more I hear from Bei the more I like. Smooth vocals and catchy lyrics. Cole's verse was smooth and catchy as well. The echo effect is just one more reason to like the song, too.”

Tank Tank - “Celebration (Remix)”

“Definitely a good song. However, I much prefer Tank doing Tank with no features. Still, repeat worthy.”
