Twista Twista - “Alright”

“this isnt your everyday beat, thanks to Kanye. Its so good and Twista sounds ill on it. I cant really grade it below 4.5.”

Drake Drake - “The Winner”

“Drake is fucking awesome. Such a new, unique rapper whose getting more widely known because of ill songs like this. He's obviously "Still Uptown."”

Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa
Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa - “Car Service”

“@J Worthy: def a smokers song, this beat is trippy as hell because of its melody and echo clapps. Overall 4 star song, cant wait for the mixtape.”

Young Money
Young Money - “Steady Mobbin'”

“I'm rating this a 5 because I really like the production, and because it is IMO one of the best Lil Wayne songs to come out this year. Gucci is aiight, and I agree with the people above who are discussing his place in the industry. He is definitely overrated, and fits in best with the Soulja Boy and Trey Song crowd.”

Drake Drake - “I'm Going In”

“I like the original without Truth or Young Jeezy better. Drake and Weezy complement each other when they are on the same song, and this song is a prime example. Ill beat and lyrics.”

Rick Ross Rick Ross - “Maybach Music Pt. 2 ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, & T-Pain”

“One of the best tracks to come out this year. The beat is epic and has obvious jazz influences, and the lyrics are just as clever and epic. The track screams classy, and if I drove a Maybach, I would rock this song all over the place. Would have rather heard someone different close this track, but still, classy beat, classy rhymes: 5 stars.”

Ace Hood Ace Hood - “Overtime ft. Akon & T-Pain”

“I hated Ace Hood on DJ Khaled's recent CD, but this song has great pace and energy. Akon and T-Pain in one song is a novelty that I'm glad happened. Definitely impressed by this song.”

Snoop Dogg Snoop Dogg - “I Became a Snoop Dogg Millionaire ft. Tanvi Shah”

“I think this is one of the best songs to come out this year with the exception of Nas new If I Ruled the World. Very original and clever sampling of the Slum Dog Millionaire concept. This beat is gangster as hell and it's rough like DJ Khalil's beats. 5/5”

Crooked I Crooked I - “If You Ever Hear Me”

“This song is very impressive. Amazing production and great, original wordplay.”

Method Man & Redman
Method Man & Redman - “A Yo! ft. Saukrates”

“This is the best Method Man production I've heard in a while. I have always considered Method one of the best emcees in the industry because he produces real rap with lyrical value and classy beats.”

Flo Rida Flo Rida - “Sugar ft. Wynter Gordon”

“I really like what he's doing with this quasi-sampling, even though some people consider it stealing the original song's creativity. I used to write Flow Rida off as a club/ringtone wannabe rapper, but he is really impressing me with these last two singles, and especially with this one. I can already hear it being played at apt. parties.”

Nas Nas - “If I Ruled the World 09 ft. Marsha Ambrosius”

“This is an awesome remake! Its great to listen to the lyrics of V1 and then listen to whats changed now. Good new take on an old classic.”
