Danny! Danny! - “Keep Your Head To The Sky”

“Already decided on a 4 star within the first 10 seconds of the track, and will happily admit that. Z and Nate point it out, the throwback feel keeps it smooth especially with that hook. Danny! went out of the box on this one, and people will remember the name because of it! (pun intended on the !)”

Hands On The Wheel Promo Photo ScHoolboy Q - “Hands On The Wheel”

“Dope sample, this one goes hard. A high energy party record that will get people talking for sure. ScHoolboy and Rocky have great chemistry on the track, really feelin this.”

Skeleton (Yeah Yeah Yeahs Remix) Promo Photo Terence Ryan - “Skeleton (Yeah Yeah Yeahs Remix)”

“The type of genre-crossover, out-of-the-box attempt that will get a standing ovation from me almost every time. This is no exception - Terrence was a genius with this one, flow was serious and he blended perfectly with the redone beat. Speaking of that beat, damn. That's all. Damn.”

Cool to Touch Promo Photo Thad Reid - “Cool to Touch”

“Thad came with a purpose on this one; a smooth lyrical frenzy that flows like a waterfall. This is one R&B feature on the hook (singing instead of rapping) from being a radio connection.”

Popped Off Promo Photo T.I. - “Popped Off”

“Been waiting for the finished version of this track since T.I. demo version dropped a couple of years ago, then the Dr Pepper commercial threw another tease in there. But now that it's finally here I can say it was worth the wait. It's a shame that Dre's Detox delay will only get this track on a TI mixtape, but a damn near classic in my opinion with vintage Dre production and flows that can't be duplicated.”

On Fire (Drug Dealer Girl Pt. 2) Promo Photo MGK (Machine Gun Kelly) - “On Fire (Drug Dealer Girl Pt. 2)”

“Definitely a good look for both artists, as MGK tries to establish himself with an audience and Mike going back to his mixtape roots shortly before the release of his new "The Layover" mixtape. The production is the standout for me here, but MGK does paint a good picture through his rhymes. I'll be checking these two out November 3 in Columbus, Midwestern-ers's should be there as well.”

Finally Home Promo Photo XV - “Finally Home”

“Love the track. Production is made for Vizzy to shine and he killed it. Odd collabo and I'm not sure MGK was a good look for this particular track. I love the idea of the 2 working together, and MGK definitely has a future after his 'Lace Up' mixtape, but I don't think this was his type of song. XV overshadows though, and its still a banger.”

Dao Jones Dao Jones - “Japan”

“Haha @ Z, I too am feeling the sample. I can definitely rock with this, real smooth vibe on the flow that you can't help but nod your head to. And while the hook may be simple and easy, it just works. This is feel good hip hop. Good look.”

Party Like We Promo Photo David Rush - “Party Like We”

“There may be something wrong with you if you didn't turn your volume up on your laptop at least a little bit as soon as this beat hit. I mean damn! David Rush definitely knows how to get the party started, and I loved the old school approach with this particular record that allows you to get in that feel good mood and enjoy fun music.”

Cold War Kids Cold War Kids - “Mine Is Yours (Blended Babies Remix)”

“Something about this just works. Maybe it's the beat, maybe it's the flow....I'll just credit it up to originality. Nothing else like what you're hearing these days, so the creativity paid off in this instance. These seem like some cool dudes that are just down to make good music, and I really enjoy this track.”

Emilio Rojas Emilio Rojas - “Look at Me Now”

“Another solid effort from Emilio. The growth of this dude is easy to hear, and he's making strides at this point. The triumphant lyrics on here are solid, as well as the celebratory beat. Make sure to check back on here on 3/23.”

Beautiful Promo Photo Noel Gourdin - “Beautiful”

“My favorite of the night. The beat is a monster, and Noel hangs his lyrics with the production in such a great way. Solid track!”

Really Raw Promo Photo Tyga - “Really Raw”

“This definitely isn't "Coconut Juice," but it's for the better and Tyga comes hard on this. This also might be the best Neptunes beat I've heard in a year, which is the major reason I love this track. Snoop and Game are great additions, and that hook has got some swag!”
