-Dre's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Skyzoo - “Boat Check In (Otis) [Freestyle]”
“Skyzoo killed it; I think it was a very intelligent move to set his voice higher than the beat because the beat can easily over-power you. YE & Jay really didn't set the bar all that high to begin with, wouldn't be surprised to see Lil' Wayne destroy them.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Phene - “Out Of My Way”
“I like the hook, I think it could've been more impactful with a soulful vocalist of some sort but the whole package is awesome. It is for now a 4.25 but with a soulful vocalist (shouts out to Novel) it's a certified classic.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Mike Dreams - “So Long”
“If I was a record company exec, this would be sign-sealed-and delivered. This was flamez. So much growth but still organic Mike Dreams.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Das Racist - “Speakin' in Tungs (Freestyle)”
“I sometimes like left field, and thus I'm feeling this ish -- I think it's funny but at the same time the flows are hot and the produx is suiting. I will also go as far to co-sign Burmy - I think Tyga in some likes Kanye West (maybe this is a stretch -- but I said it) is also a good example of this.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Lyfe Jennings - “Statistics”
“I am not a big R&B dude but I gots to say this song is a fresh breath of air. It has the passion a lot of new age R&B songs are lacking IMO.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Alicia Keys - “Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) (Remix)”
“Nothing left to see in the ratings sections folks: *Drake is a beast *Alicia Keys is a beast *This song being their brain child makes it a beast of 'Un-thinkable' abilities.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hollyweerd - “Supa Eazy”
“I don't think they're making it look easy at all cus' they did it right but are they on the radio?? No Offense but the KING of making it look easy is T-Pain he made it look so easy that everyone followed on some auto-tune ish.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

B.o.B - “Not Lost”
“Dayyyyum, I mean if this didn't make the album the there's only a couple things I can think of. Either B.o.B. or the people behind the scenes must be thinking that they don't want to be in T.I.'s coattails...?? Or alternatively they are leaving this off for a possible bonus track/re-release? Either way the hook is catchy and smooth and both artists put in work for their respective verses.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

XV - “Lift the Game”
“Un-related how did my account get deboed? Dude posting like me about some fake azz Jordanz wth!?? As for the track it needs to be said that I don't think this killed Wayne's verson it's much too different. They both have their places XV's version is great but having come after Lil' Wayne's I don't think it could quite top it. It needed just one more element. Please refer to your periodic table -- EM.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nas & Damian Marley - “Strong Will Continue”
“Mr. Top Hat great job with the lyrics! The only line I question is "When the armageddon's dark and dread" a lot of lyrics sites are reporting it as such but being of Jamaican lineage I'm not hearing it. As for the song itself I'm without adjectives to describe the feelings this song arouses. This is a single; but "As We Enter" is still fire.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ludacris - “My Chick Bad”
“Either (A.) Nicki Minaj is starting to grow on me or (B.) this was a solid effort from her, rememberable verses and a flow that wasn't uber annoying; kudos. As far as Luda goes I think he softened it up so as not to completely eclipse Nicki (which works I might add). Luda's lyrics were the truth but his flow was a tad lacking in enthusiasm. Not real surprised about the repetitive hook and I don't really mind it.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wale - “The Meeting”
“Even on here Wale is slept on; any other artist with a name that has a bit more weight in the game and this would be a 4.5-5. Just saying.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ester Dean - “Drop It Low (Remix)”
“I felt as if I was listening to the female version of Ron Browz here Ima have to hear some really really impressive ish from Ester for her not to fall by the wayside. Wayne killed it C. Breezy did his thang; I'm really finding myself whole-heartedly agreen with Mr. S this song is definitely a guilty pleasure. I mean I wanna dislike it but I just can't and its infectious once it drops.” -Dre's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
