Had Nathan not written this amazing, spot-on review I'd share my long drawn-out thoughts with you all. But, since he has, I'll keep it simple. If you like Drake because of his work on "So Far Gone" you'd be hard pressed to not enjoy his debut. Essentially, its an extension of that entire project. Drake followed the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" model to a tee. And in the end that works great. If he had knocked off that terrible Dream collabo and the unneeded interlude at the very end, we're looking at a 4.5 album. As constituted, a 4.”

“The beginning and end of this album are phenomenal. The middle, however, is not as enjoyable. I don't like artists who try to do songs that are not their strength and that is Wale's pitfall with songs like "Let It Loose" and "90210." With that said, the great outweighs the mediocre and songs like "TV in the Radio," "Mirrors," and "Diary" are amazing. Repeat-worthy! Favorite Song: Beautiful Bliss.”
