Kanye West - “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”
“Oh sh-- the first classic rating is here! Well, I would have to agree. This is now my favorite Kanye album as a whole, tying Late Registration. There wasn't a single track I didn't like, the beats are spectacular, and Kanye's rhyming might be his strongest yet. If I HAD to name some favorite tracks, they would be "Devil in a New Dress", "Gorgeous", "Blame Game", "Lost in the World", and "Who Will Survive in America". Gotta love Gil Scott-Heron.” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Bun B - “Trill O.G.”
“I hadn't really listened to Bun B before I heard "No Mixtape" and songs from the album, and I was impressed. This is overall a solid album. Some of his best work is on this album. It is not a classic, like the source has tried to say, but still good. My favorite tracks in no particular order: "Chuuuch!!!", "Ridin Slow", "It's Been A Pleasure", "Right Now", and "Put It Down".” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Slum Village - “Villa Manifesto”
“Glad to see all the members of Slum Village on one album. Villa Manifesto is a nice, solid album. The production was excellent, and Slum Village constantly delivers rhyme-wise. My favorite tracks were "Scheming", "The Set Up", "Lock It Down", "We'll Show You", and "Faster". Hopefully this isn't the last Slum Village album, but if it is, they went out well.” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Rick Ross - “Teflon Don”
“I enjoyed the album throughly. This is clearly Ross' best album, and he showed me that his rhyme skills are improving as time goes by. Pretty much all the production was good, most of the guest features delivered, and ross' lyrics have definitely improved. My favorite tracks in no particular order: 1. All the money in the World 2. Live Fast, Die Young 3. Maybach Music III 4. I'm Not A Star 5. Blowin Money Fast 6. Aston Martin Music” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Drake - “Thank Me Later”
“Pretty good album from Drake. minus a few tracks, this could be a 4.5. To me, his weakest tracks were those that were mostly/all singing (Karaoke, Cece's Interlude). I liked his singing tracks from So Far Gone, but the ones on Thank Me Later don't do it for me. Drake's rapping on the album was overall very well. My top 5 in no particular order: 1. The Resistance 2. Show Me A Good Time 3. Fireworks 4. Fancy 5. Over” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nas & Damian Marley - “Distant Relatives”
“Beautiful album. Great job vocally and production-wise from Marley, and some of Nas' best lyrics are on here. Basically the tracks ranged from good to excellent, no lower. This is without a doubt the best collaboration album I've ever heard. I will be playing this for ages to come. "This is what greatness sounds like." Exactly.” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

R. Kelly - “Untitled”
“Loved the review and i thought it was pretty much spot on. I have to say, I love R. kelly's music, and to me this album was great. Not as good as some of his others, but still great! I do agree that Supaman High was absolutely horrible, but I actually liked Crazy Night. Can't wait for more from the King of R&B! My fav tracks were: Exit, Go low, Elsewhere, Banging the Headboard, Echo” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jay-Z - “The Blueprint 3”
“Ive been listening to this album for just about a week (I got the album leak), and i LOVE it! its nowhere near a classic Jay-z album, but its still great! Just about all the tracks were good except Venus vs Mars and On To The Next One. at least a 4 out of 5, maybe 4.5 Favorite tracks: 1.Already Home 2.So Ambitious 3.Hate (even though kanye's verse sucked) 4.Real As it Gets or Empire State of Mind 5.Reminder P.S. I think this is the first time i've EVER disagreed with a Nathan S album review!” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Maxwell - “BLACKsummers'night”
“This is a perfect comeback album for Maxwell. All the songs are good (most are great), and Maxwell's voice flows perfectly with the good production. I hope we hear more from Maxwell in the future. I am a HUGE fan of neo-soul and this did not dissapoint. 4.5 out of 5 My favorite tracks were "Pretty Wings", "Bad Habits", "Stop the World", and "Fistful of Tears". Maxwell is my 2nd favorite R&B artist, after D'ANGELO...I consider Voodoo to be a classic neo-soul album and I'm waiting for his supposed comeback I keep hearing about.” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Common - “Universal Mind Control”
“This is definitely not one of Common's best albums, but its still a banger! Common always delivers, and I like the production from the Neptunes. Overall, Common will always be one of my favorite artists, but I like his more concious rappin better.” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Kanye West - “808's & Heartbreak”
“To me, Kanye West has always been one the best artists in the game, but this album proved it. Kanye shows a degree of creativity and diversity in here and I applaud him for it. Not to mention that the tracks were great. Overall, It's a 4.5/5, and I can't wait to hear more from Kanye! My favorite track was "Amazing".” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

T.I. - “Paper Trail”
“This is totally a near-claasic and probably the BEST rap album so far this year. I agree with Nathan S in the fact that this was not as good as "King", but this proves that TI is KING OF THE SOUTH! I think the best tracks on here were "Live Your Life", "Swagger Like Us" and "No Matter What.” jaydeemorgan's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
