My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Promo Photo Kanye West - “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”

“Holy crap... Hip Hop Classic, from Nathan S? Pssh I'm not hating... On the contrary I totally agree... On the 1st listen I wasn't convinced it was a classic, but after listening to it close to 20 times over the weekend, I gotta say Kanye has done it again!”

Akon - Freedom Promo Photo Akon - “Akon - Freedom”

“If you love or hate Akon, I don't think listening to this album will change your mind. Yeah, he has changed his style, but he is still the same Akon with a small amount of vocal talent, nasal groan and the catchiest hooks repeated as many times as needed to get them stuck in your head forever. With that said, Akon is tremedously popular and will continue to be one of the biggest in the industry. Personally, I am an Akon fan, I love his music and enjoyed this album ALOT! I enjoyed almost every song... 2 tracks that didn't enjoy were Holla Holla and Sunny Day is also poor, Wyclef is WEAK. My favourites are Beautiful, Right Now, We Don't Care, I'm so paid, Birthmark, and Over The Edge. Probaly, my 3rd Favorite album of the year, but the ONE I'm likely to listen to the most!”

Lovehate Promo Photo The-Dream - “Lovehate”

“This is a crazy album. Its something different and its very easy to listen to right through. The songs flow along nicely except 'Ditch That' is quite out of place. He makes some amazing slow jams on here and his lyrics are excellent. 'Nikki' and 'Falsetto' are my favourites. 'Shawty Is Da Shit', 'I Luv Ur Girl', 'Fast Car' & 'Livin' a Lie' are also great.”

Year Of The Gentleman Promo Photo Ne-Yo - “Year Of The Gentleman”

“Damn Right.. All Hail King Ne-Yo! This has the best R&B album of the year and one of the best in the last few years. I have all his albums and this is by far Ne-Yo's best work. Production genious Stargate combined with Ne-Yo's smooth voice with meaningful lyrics create sure hits. This is evident on Closer and Miss Independant. Ne-Yo & Stargate team up once again on these tracks (along with 'Mad' and 'What You Know') to climb the charts as they have done before with "So Sick”, “Sexy Love” and “Because of You". This album is all about the ladies, and not in the typical lust-driven way of most music these days, but more praise for them with tracks such as "Miss Independant" & "Why Does She Stay". This album is worth buying. Yeah, CD's are expensive, but this is worth it. With this album you can take your finger away from the skip button and use it to crank the volume. I listened to it from start to finish more then once. This is classic!”

We Global Promo Photo DJ Khaled - “We Global”

“People hate Khaled with reason and that is fine. He has no reason to scream on his tracks, and even when he doesnt (YES he doesn't... "I Would usually scream all over this intro")on 'We Global' (ft.Trey Songz & Fat Joe) he still announces he is there. If you can listen to each of these songs as SONGS and not as DJ Khaled, you will find this album very enjoyable. It's a celebration of the hottest in the game. Khaled has done one thing that no one else has been able to do... and that is actually get all these artists on one album. I would love to have Khaleds phone book, he is one connected man. We Global starts off with presence through Standing on the mountain and a FIRE Ace Hood verse and this album continues to bang. My pics are Go Hard, I'm On, Out Here Grindin' & She's Fine... but there are others. This is definatley worth a listen!!!”
