Focused Promo Photo Wale - “Focused”

“Not every song must have deep substance. If it hits inside you and gets you hyped, it's a great achievement. Wale has a unique style, love his lyrics and delivery.”

J. Cole J. Cole - “Disgusting”

“Song is disgusting (meaning dope)!!! Cole sounded much like Kanye's "lazy" flow, but the delivery is not boring just because it's lazy! The beat is simply fresh. Much like the flow, it's pseudo-lazy and it actually has great work behind it! As for the lyrics, it's good to see J. Cole relaxed for once and just having fun, I don't want him to go Wale and flop!”

Christine Dior Denim Flow Promo Photo Kanye West - “Christine Dior Denim Flow”

“What the... ? What's up with this rating? Production and chorus alone (Legend's higher vocals, yet on the background, were exquisite!), make this a banger! The guitar?! Oh God! You must really not care about that instrument not to go crazy on the second part of the song and the riffs. By the way, switching it like that was classy good taste! People need to stop being so biased every time they hear an unexpected rapping... Trey Songz often out-raps rappers on his remixes (check "Over", much better than Drake)! Ryan L. was fine, Banks was surprising, Cudi sounded finally at home and enjoyable. Musical feast!”

F*ck You Promo Photo Cee-Lo Green - “F*ck You”

“XD What a great song!!! =D Cacthy, funny and hearing a "Fvck You" never felt to uplifting! Really, this changed my mood completely... Cee-Lo is music! Agree with Z, it's a damn shame to edit anything about this!”

Power (Remix) Promo Photo Kanye West - “Power (Remix)”

“It's simply impossible to do it better than Mr. West! It's not just genius... it's hard work and passion here! All the modifications on the beat and vocals worked for the better and the song ended up fittingly powerful. The "I’ve Got the Power" moment was unreal... Grammys already reserved.”

J. Cole J. Cole - “Blow Up”

“J. Cole is the most talented, consistent hip hop artist I've heard since Kanye West. Production is simply amazing; I like how much guitar he brings into his beats, fresh percussion/rhythm and real musical vision (the break in 2nd verse just creates that space for you to enjoy the other instruments even more when they kick back in... and the bridge by the end is just exquisite!). His delivery (both rapping and harmonizing naturally *cough..autotunedrake..cough*) and lyrics are flawless!”

XV XV - “Squares”

“Wow, we got some bass right here! Love it! Production is powerful and beautifully crafted! XV's been consistently great with his delivery and lyrics, and doing so in a genuine way! It was about time he got a deal, but more than that, he deserves success.”

J. Cole J. Cole - “Premeditated Murder”

“Rappers are usually insecure about having good vocals in rap (it's not "cool", you know, maybe even "gay"), so even the fans can’t recognize singing when they hear it from a rapper... but that's exactly what J. Cole did here (without autotune *cough*Drake*cough*). Production is amazingly beautiful, the composition denotes a real artist behind it, with musical ear. And all that comes from a guy who is rapping like the finest MCs ever, yet so genuine.”

Love the Way You Lie Promo Photo Eminem - “Love the Way You Lie”

“The circumstances that led to the Rihanna feature makes this so genuine and powerful. With the proper proportions, or just humanity, anyone can relate to this. Em paints a graphic, gripping picture and his psychotic flow fitted this perfectly. It was a relief that Rihanna actually sounded good (it's not a sure bet), but the biggest surprise was the production, probably the most commercial of Em's career. (get over it!) Not a single flaw on this one!”

Ya Hear Me Promo Photo T.I. - “Ya Hear Me”

“Beat is dope: that bassline, guitar and organ bring a fresh vibe! The opening alone is enough to tell you the musical greatness you're about to have. I'd love to hear this live! T.I. makes it sound easy, but there's actually an amazing effort in how he rides the beats he gets. It's as great as a flow can get! He actually makes it proper without loosing any comfort and sounding genuine and dynamic. People are so damn spoiled...”

Live Fast Die Young Promo Photo Rick Ross - “Live Fast Die Young”

“Amazing! Kanye did one hell of a job here! Production is top notch, the music is beautifully crafted and catchy! This is so heavily Kanye-influenced that the only way one can tell it's a Rick Ross song is that he gets 2 verses and does actually sound hungrier than usual. Nonetheless Kanye was the most comfortable on the beat and was outstanding. The chorus is just feel-good and genuine. Rap listeners are definitely not music lovers. Rating this garbage and hating is plain ignorant.”

Like It or Not Promo Photo Justin Garner - “Like It or Not”

“A real R&B SINGER?! Not a pretty boy who knows some dance moves?! Not a production-depending travesty!? :o No autotune gimmicks?! You gotta be kidding me!!! In 2010?! Nah, this must have been done in the 90's, so that's it, there's the gimmick! Seriously now, Usher's vocals are overrated for me Z, so I'd say Justin's voice is even better! He actually reminds me of Robert from Day26, but a little smoother. First time hearing Justin, and he's definitely Top3 R&B singer right now (sit down Jason Derulo, I.Y.A.Z, Sean Kingston and alike... -_-)! And then the production?! Music like this isn't made anymore! Great man, thanx! Finally a "traditional" R&B jam. I love some "contemporary" too, but this type of sound shouldn't disappear! The percussion alone deserves one full listen to this and enjoy the build up. LISTEN!”

XXXO (Remix) Promo Photo M.I.A. - “XXXO (Remix)”

“Loved it! Production is just catchy and M.I.A.'s delivery is addictive. Love the blend of rapping and singing. Jay's verse sounded great, his flow was so on point!”
