The5Rings's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

Sex With Society Promo Photo Kendrick Lamar - “Sex With Society”

“#Section80 is one of the most anticipated tapes for me this year. This does not have the same effect as HiiiPower but it is a solid cut for all the Kendrick fans out there...”

Castle Walls Promo Photo T.I. - “Castle Walls”

“This is one of the few stand out tracks on TIP's new album. Combining mainstream style on this track works very well and the lyrics show his heartfelt emotion. Banger!”

The Fire Promo Photo LA & Mr. Music - “The Fire”

“Glad DJBooth finally featured a LA/Mr. Music song. I've been high on them for a while dating back to their "What Do You Do?" album which showed they can bring a breath of fresh air to the r&b/pop genre. From the hook to the verses, this is fire (pun intended). Theirs some talented young cats coming from the Chi, just listen to some other songs from S-Preme. I agree with Z, this does have a Kanye-esque sound to it. No complaints about this song, it's a banger from start to finish.”

When Ya On Promo Photo Chamillionaire - “When Ya On”

“It's different to hear Cham on this kind of beat but it definitely works. Nipsey brings his own style on here and the beat is nice. Cham is one of the best in the hip-hop game of doing his own hooks and proves it on here. Be on the look-out for "Playlist Poison" and "Major Pain 1.5" in the future, he's been MIA for a while but Koopa is back!”

Freeway Freeway - “P.A.”

“Freeway and Statik together on one track. You know its gonna be fire. Add an up and comer like Mac Miller to the mix that fits perfectly in, and you got one hot track. I'm loving the production on here. This is definitely a head-nodder that had me pressing the repeat button multiple times.”

All for Me Promo Photo XV - “All for Me”

“It's only a matter of one hit song before XV blows up! This could possibly be that song that gets him over the edge because it has many aspects of a mainstream song. The beat that Omen provides is dope and CyHi & XV kill it. I could of done without Vado but still a sick song none the less. I'm going to be having this song on repeat for a while.”

Nipsey Hussle Nipsey Hussle - “Bigger Than Life”

“I was highly dissapointed by Nipsey's most recent mixtape that just dropped. However, this is one of the few standout tracks I enjoy. He switches it up by going in on a lighter-sounding production than the norm. June Summers is dope with the vocals as well. If you dont already know, 2011 is the year that the West Coast music scene blows up with Dom Kennedy, Fashawn, U.N.I., Shawn Chrys, Kendrick Lamar and Nipsey leading the way.”

Hustle Baby Promo Photo Freeway - “Hustle Baby”

“I had this on repeat as well the first day I heard it. The production is fresh and I love how Freeway shouts out to the masses. A banger that will make sure you stay on top of your grind.”
