F.A.M.E. Promo Photo Chris Brown - “F.A.M.E.”

“Despite everything that has gone on in the past couple years with Chris Brown, he still truly is talented. Plus, the new discovery of his rapping ability. This album in my opinion is his most consistent yet, maybe not his best, but I can listen to this whole album through without skipping any tracks and I just can't get enough of Yeah 3x!”

Disc-Overy Promo Photo Tinie Tempah - “Disc-Overy”

“Absolutely a great album from start to finish! My favourite song on the album is Pass Out, the production on that song....and the whole CDs production is flawless! every song is great and he definately deserves to be in North America, his sound is unique and he is a decent lyricist. Hope to be hearing a lot more from him.”

Recovery Promo Photo Eminem - “Recovery”

“This is the Em I like to hear! Straight lyrical and not the negative crap we heard last album I bought the last album and I was disappointed, bought this album and I love it! Other than the opening track (where Em still kills it), the whole CD is laced with mainstream beats that the Dr. perfected for Em's album, way to get back in Dre, and way to get back to making "happier" music Em! Def a classic!! My favourite album nex to the Eminem Show!”

The Adventures of Bobby Ray Promo Photo B.o.B - “The Adventures of Bobby Ray ”

“I have always enjoyed BOB! He has been my favourite rapper over the past year. This album is more of a Hip Pop album and i am glad he showcased not just his hiphop skills but his overall musical talent. Great Freshmen album! I would say 4.5 not quite perfect but I rounded up.”

Jason Derulo Promo Photo Jason Derulo - “Jason Derulo”

“I went and bought this album mainly because Whatcha Say, which I downloaded way back when you guys orignally posted it! I must say that this album was really well put together and I can listen to the whole album straight through and really like every song! If anybody buys this album take a look at his thank you's. This kid is no dummy. yes, he could have used She Flys Me Away feat Nemesis, but they used a similar beat on Sky is the Limit, and it was slower and more with the albums mood. Awesome album!!Overall I hope to see Jason again soon on DJbooth.”

Malice in Wonderland Promo Photo Snoop Dogg - “Malice in Wonderland”

“I went and bought this album before this review and I have to say that it is definately a good album...not a great but it is good. First off, why is everybody hatin on Soulja? Pronto is my favourite track! Next to I have to agree Thats Tha Homie. Soulja is not as bad as people think his lyrics were not that bad and yall ain't hatin on Playball, which is very similar. Anyways, Snoops CD is a good one, with I have to say The Dream's songs being my least favourite, their similar in the titles and their both somewhat boring. Snoop is really trying to reach the younger generation with this album, and we will know over time if he is successful. Overall this album is a 3.5 i'd say but ill give it a 4 just to round up....Banger.”

Attention Deficit Promo Photo Wale - “Attention Deficit”

“I have supported Wale since 1000 miles and runnin mixtape. He is somebody i was wondering when he was gona put an album out.....and it finally arrived!!! This album sticks to what he does best! He is really clever with his flow and every song he comes hard! Even the song with Gucci, Gucci actually lays down a mediocre verse, I guess he didnt want to get slaughtered by the wordplay of Wale. Anyways Chillin is still one of the best songs on the album so catchy and surprisingly probably some of his worst lines on the album, however he has got such a great album, TV in the Radio is soo good, gotta love K'naan reppin Canada!! This album is def a great performance showing that the man from DC is gona be here for a bit, I say that his next album will be his breakthrough album, and critics will say, "What sophomore slump?" Wale "Dude is Sick!" Classic Album.”

The E.N.D. Promo Photo Black Eyed Peas - “The E.N.D.”

“This is a awesome CD. I know everybody on here is mainly hip hop. But the DJ's should respect this album. You guys and girls will be playing this CD non-stop in clubs. Every song is a club banger. I can't give it classic because its not the most original idea. Hence the Auto-tune over use once again.”

Blackout! 2 Promo Photo Method Man & Redman - “Blackout! 2”

“This is an amazing CD, I went and picked it up today, and just listening to the first 5 or 6 tracks I knew that Redman and Method Man have made a serious comeback. They havent released an album in a while and they came back with a bang that is for sure. I like how they brought back Eric Sermon, the man who was responsible for making the first Blackout album. I was not the biggest fan of them, I never really listened to either artist I must admit, but this definately solidified them in my rotation. This is a straight classic.”

R.O.O.T.S Promo Photo Flo Rida - “R.O.O.T.S”

“Flo Rida is awesome and I do not care what people say. However, this album in my opinion is not as good as his last album. I am not saying this album is no good because this is an awesome album, just not as good as the first. But overall a good album. Went and bought it today. Definate Banger”

Colin Munroe Is The Unsung Hero Promo Photo Colin Munroe - “Colin Munroe Is The Unsung Hero”

“I did what DJ Baer did and downloaded not really hearing anything he has done, other than hearing the Flashing Lights Remix at my work. But I think this CD is a great CD and he does somethin different with hip hop as well as remaking some Alternative Classics. Plus he is Canadian like ME!!!!”

808's & Heartbreak Promo Photo Kanye West - “808's & Heartbreak”

“Another surprise CD which I thought was gonna be terrible just because he went all Autotune. However,.....this was one of my favourite albums of the year. He went with a new sound, definately agree with MichaelHannah with going out on a limb, and definately went well. Kanye rips through this album. He went with limiting swearing , no parental advisory and making it a CD that everybody can listen to. Love the whole CD. Kanye you have down it again. Instant classic. But Kanye please bring back some old Kanye.”

The Ball Street Journal Promo Photo E-40 - “The Ball Street Journal”

“E-40 is one of those guys you love or hate. I love it. His last CD which broke him into the mainstream market was just in the rotation bought it and it sounded good but not quite a banger. However, this CD i think is an amazing CD and a Classic in the Bay Area. With a similiar sound as Ghetto Report Card, he amplifys that sound in Ball Street Journal. Every song spits bass through your speakers, and definately has improved his lyrical content and keeping his son as a main producer is smart, because his son is great at making a street hit. Its funny cuz i think the worst song on the album is the one with T-Pain, the rest of the CD is a much better so if that song hits the charts dont judge him by that. (haha)”

Akon - Freedom Promo Photo Akon - “Akon - Freedom”

“Akon is one of my favourite R&B artists. He just knows what people want in a hook. Every song he is featured in he makes hot. However, dont forget about his solo career he definately dominates in solo as well. His last CD Konvicted was amazing. It is a hard CD to follow up, but he did it, and I like this CD 3X better. Every track is a club banger, he seems to blend Dance and R&B perfectly on Right Now(Na Na Na), and Beautiful, and it carries on throughout the CD. Definately Classic”

The Renaissance Promo Photo Q-Tip - “The Renaissance”

“Definately gettin back to what he was on A Tribe Called Quest. He has such a smooth flow and definately an amazing rapper. Bought the CD and i mush say that this is a classic in my eyes. A big improvement from Amplified haha.”
