btaznpride's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

The Throne - “Otis”
“A lot people sayin they're not feelin the beat, but I really dig how they build it up and keep that constant stab in there. Ye and Jay killed this, no chorus/hook, straight bars.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Big Sean - “So Much More”
“@Jor-El ....you must not know about CyHi The Prynce..... Anyways, Big Sean murked this track, this one of my favorites from his album. The production is that classic GOOD Music sound and Big Sean's flow is just incredible on this joint, its inspiring and dope.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Big K.R.I.T - “Dreamin”
“There's something about Big K.R.I.T.'s music that just seems pure and honest. A very humble rapper, which is unusual in these days, every album is a journey and his voice is perfect for his southern tales. This joint is heartfelt and really hits home about his movement. Return of 4eva is another step in the right direction for his movement. Southern soulful rap.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Trey Songz - “Can't Be Friends”
“This is the Trey that I like, when he really lays down the vocals. I understand catering to clubs with some of his songs, but I much prefer this. I knew he could sing every since he came on with "Gotta Go" and "Gotta Make It", he should continue to prove it wit joints like this. "We Should Be" off Trey Day is also a real nice record. Solid record, looking forward to his newest.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Los - “Next Black President”
“Los is a promising emcee, ever since I heard his remix to A Milli, he continues to rip songs. The fact that this is an original piece of work, makes it all the more meaningful for fans of Los. Looking forward to what he can do in the game.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

B.o.B - “Airplanes”
“B.o.B. continues to deliver good songs. I definitely agree about him being the best at incorporating urban pop, staying true to his ATL sound, yet being able to crossover to mainstream. The hook is fitting, while B.o.B.'s introspection is much appreciated. More serious of a track, compared to his other releases, but radio friendly nonetheless. The only problem I had was with the ending, kinda abrupt. But that's nitpicking and I'm lookin forward to the album.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nappy Roots - “Ride”
“Nappy Roots keep winning. The Humdinger was one of the best albums, but got largely slept on. Still they continue staying true to their sound with this number, definitely one to "ride" to. Diggin the sound, Pursuit Of Nappyness is looking promising.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Clipse - “Popular Demand (Popeye's)”
“Can't wait for Till The Casket Drops, haven't been too impressed by the singles so far. I'm Good was decent, All Eyes On Me as well, Kinda Like A Big Deal was pretty good, but this right here is a jam. A definite banger, a lotta hype built for this joint, and they come through. Neptunes sound good on the production and Pharrell's hook is nice, Cam drops a solid verse, Pusha and Malice are fitting. Banger right here!!!” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jaheim - “Ain't Leavin' Without You”
“Solid jam by Jaheim, really lookin forward to his album. I was impressed by Makings Of A Man where I really felt he showed growth from Ghetto Classics. Nice dance floor cut that as mentioned above me, is one for the elderly and young.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Joe Budden - “We Outta Here”
“They murked this beat, loved the song all the way through. The autotune works here and I really wish that this was on their debut, rather than Joey's EP. Anywayz straight heat, gonna be bumpin this for a while.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nappy Roots - “That's Right”
“Nappy Roots always come correct, evident here. As Juanito_88 stated, this isn't there best, but they sound good with the beat. Lookin out for that 40 Akerz project!! Keep It Nappy!” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

St. Lunatics - “St. Lunatics”
“Feelin this joint right here, bringin back that rap crew rap that I love. Although some of the members are merely amateur, Murph and Nelly hold it down. With all of them though, it makes everybody sound better and Wyshmaster has an anthem right here in the production. Really like this joint, hopefully they can keep puttin out heat like this.” btaznpride's Rating:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
