“I read it too! Nice one muzzieBoi! I listened to this album all day long. It truely is a Hip hop gem, and yes I do skip the Chris brown track , but honestly who cares? This album is clearly one of the great ones and I wonder where it stands on his catalog. "One hot album every ten year average* Not anymore Jay, Not any more! NAS Best Rapper Alive!!! The Grammys gonna have a tough time this year! Who gets it? This or The Cool? Honestly to me its a tie! But to the grammys, the winner is... FLOrida!!! smh”

Tha Carter III Promo Photo Lil Wayne - “Tha Carter III”

“Nathan, That was strong! Very nice write up! I expected Lil Wayne's album to be well produced, and it was. I expected him to approach every song with a certain swagger that will rewrite the walk many MCs after him to follow. He Did! I expected him to speak negatively and show a unique perspective on the world that many will find offensive. He did! I didn't expect him to be as creative as he was when it came to song concepts. Tracks like Mrs. Officer giving us his version of Fuck the Police reminiscent of 50 Cents I smell Pussy. Kindly declaring a sub conscious war with 5 0. To the surgery he performs on the dying game we call Hip Hop on Dr. Carter. These songs although creative were not the high lights of the album. ( I refuse to mention Lollipop, A millie, Got Money, or any of the songs that we've heard 1000 times b4 this thang dropped.) The songs I enjoy most are, Shoot me down, misunderstood, Playing with fire, and the very best song on the album, Tie My Hands where Weezy hold down those who may have drowned in the biggest catastrophic event in this nations history since Slavery. Weezy didn't bring an album to the world that you can compare to any of the Classics that we group together. However that doesn't mean that Carter III will be forgotten either. Lil Wayne is holding the torch in 2008 rather you like it or not. You will walk his walk, or hate him, but either way you will think of him, speak of him, and listen to him this year. For that alone this album gets 4 stars. And One extra 4 entering rehab.”

Lyfe Change Promo Photo Lyfe Jennings - “Lyfe Change”

“Lyfe touches on issues that NEED to be spoken of! I think this album is not only a pleasure to listen to from a musical stand point, but is one of the more important albums of the year thus far. "It's Real" is a must hear! Top to bottom, Great album!”
