One Block Radius - “You Got Me”

“Love it!”

Musiq Soulchild Musiq Soulchild - “Radio”

“Ok I like this, but not happy it is Musiq. I like the whole neo soul aspect of Musiq. I don't have a problem with people changing a little bit, but not so much so that they lose what made them famous in the first place.”

John Legend John Legend - “Green Light ft. Andre 3000”

“Love it! Love it! This is straight up my alley. I was worried about the direction of his new album. I loved all his John Stephens albums and of course the first one was sick, the second one was good. It had a lot of elevator music but I still dug a couple songs. If this is just the first track, I'm already loving it. This is a great collabo. Can't wait for the album!”

GemStones a.k.a. Gemini GemStones a.k.a. Gemini - “Skeletons ft. Sarah Green”

“I'd give him four stars for the lyrics alone.”

Kenna
Kenna - “Say Goodbye to Love (Remix) ft. Lupe Fiasco”

“Love it. I love Lupe, so that already gave the song an advantage but Kenna is defintely fresh. I was just complaining about not having anything to listen to. I have trouble appreciating the radio because everything on it sounds the same. Hip Hop is meant to be diverse and here we have it.”

Common Common - “Universal Mind Control ft. Pharrell Williams”

“Love it! Common is one of my favorite artists. I have to admit though, I'm not into the whole techno dance craze. I wouldn't play this while driving, unless I was on my way to the club. This is a party song.”

K. Michelle K. Michelle - “Can't Go On”

“Refreshing! She has a soulful voice, good lyrics, and I'll definitely be looking to hear more from her.”

Lil Wayne Lil Wayne - “Lollipop (Remix) ft. Kanye West & Static Major”

“I don't really like the voicebox crap but Kanye killed this song. I heard it on the radio the other day and they just kept playing Kanye's part. It was crazy. This is a great remix.”

Busta Rhymes Busta Rhymes - “We Made It ft. Linkin Park”

“The chorus is corny, but I'm not mad at it. I think its refreshing to finally have verses better than the chorus. Music is at such a terrible state, people get hooked on the chorus. Next thing you know you have people blasting garbage because the chorus is catchy. Time for a change.”

T.I. T.I. - “No Matter What”

“T.I. is my favorite down south rapper, with Luda and z-ro following close behind. Its songs like this that prove hip hop isn't dead. This song has a purpose, the lyrics are on point and it comes from the heart. You gotta respect it.”

Dallas Blocker Dallas Blocker - “Whatchu Do To Me”

“He has a great voice, the beat pulls you in but the lyrics fall short for me. I think it is the stuttering parts. I'll get bore of this song easily, but his voice definitely leaves me wanting more. So he still gets a four.”

Plies Plies - “Bust It Baby (Pt. 2) ft. Ne-Yo”

“I love this song but Plies isn't the reason why. Ne-yo brought that old school r&b out, how could you not love it?”

Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey - “Bye Bye (Remix) ft. Jay-Z”

“This is on point. I think Jay Z is always at his best on other people's songs thats where I want him to stay for a while.”

Lupe Fiasco Lupe Fiasco - “Superstar (Remix) ft. Matthew Santos, Young Jeezy & T.I.”

“This is a crazy remix. I love Lupe and T.I. The remix is better than the original they killed this song.”
