DJAlexxander's TOP HIP HOP SINGLES

The Way You Move Promo Photo T-Pain - “The Way You Move”

“Still bumping this track. Strong performances by all artists. Hopefully it catches on more once the album drops. It seems like Ne-yo's tracks are falling off the radar, and for no apparently reason too.”

“Production on the chorus is either too repetitive or just too low key. Something on the song is missing, but the performance is tremendous.”

...ALL Promo Photo Miguel - “...ALL”

“For a mixtape cut this was very impressive. Can't wait to hear the next album. This song is definitely rich with intensity. It may not have a completely smooth vocal track, but the raw vocals make this effort exceptional.”

Breathe It In Promo Photo Snoop Dogg - “Breathe It In”

“Played this at a party on 4/20, and this song was the biggest hit that night with the crowd. Snoop's flow is pretty sick on this track too. Snoop has upped his game since malice. Doggumentary was excellent overall, and this track continues in that spirit. His bootsy collins impression at the beginning was hilarious.”

Take It To The Head Promo Photo DJ Khaled - “Take It To The Head”

“Aside from the fact that khalid shouldn't rap, I was quite happy with the entirety of this track. Production is completely on point. Bet Drake wishes he was on this one. Breezy does a fine job. Rick Ross holds up. Looks like Nicki can still rap despite her roman reloaded setbacks. And Wayne just killed it.”

Yelawolf Yelawolf - “Thank You [Freestyle]”

“Only reason I'm not fiving this is because I'm not too big a fan of such minimalistic tracks with no variation throughout the entirety. Still doesn't change the fact that Yelawolf spit this track like it was his last.”

Let Me In Promo Photo David Banner - “Let Me In”

“Just as deep as everything Banner did on Death of a Pop Star. Cutoff on the drums for the 40 shebib effect. Autotune was a little too jarring on the chorus so I think the vocals could have been smoother.”

Timbaland Timbaland - “Break Ya Back”

“This would make a good intro song to the album. Ambient and interesting. Wouldn't call this a single though. I hope this isn't the top of Timbo's bag of tricks.”
