TheGreatest's TOP ALBUMS

Round 2 Promo Photo J. Holiday - “Round 2”

“Dang, I mean this isn't my favorite RnB album, but it was a really solid effort. Holiday's voice is perfect for the production. Really smooth album. Solid, not great, but I give it a 4 star. You either like Holiday and this album or you don't. It is unique as hell...”

Love vs. Money Promo Photo The-Dream - “Love vs. Money”

“I am trying to think of an album that i have heard that is similar to this... I can't. I just think Dream is on a different level than anyone else right now. I wouldn't say hes the best RnB artist out right now, but it is hard to argue against him. regardless I haven't heard an album like this in a while. Definitely 4.5 Not a classic, but almost. I will round up... Top tracks: 1. Put It Down 2. Fancy 3. Rockin that Sh*t 4. Right Side of My Brain 5. Love vs. Money”

Avant Promo Photo Avant - “Avant”

“I got this album. I dont have much more to add on besides what Nathan S. said. Anyway, I will give it 4 stars. Gopod album, Avant has one of the best voices in Rnb for sure.”

The Point Of It All Promo Photo Anthony Hamilton - “The Point Of It All”

“His albums have never disappointed me and this was the same. I don't think I will ever hear another "Comin From Where I'm From," but his music never disappoints. CLASSIC album, actually my favorite album of the year regardless of genre. i am bias cuz he is easily my top 5 favorite artists in any genre ever. CLASSIC”

Year Of The Gentleman Promo Photo Ne-Yo - “Year Of The Gentleman”

“Hands down the best R&B album of the year, and i believe that you could say it is top 10 albums out this year regardless of genre. i know you want to say I have no idea what other genres have to offer, but believe me I listen to everything you can imagine. the only hip-hop album I liked better was Nas, but besides that I can't say anyone else outdid Neyo. Unbelievable work by him. Did not disappoint at all. CLASSIC!”

The Recession Promo Photo Young Jeezy - “The Recession”

“I wont rate but I will say this, Jeezy does exactly what I expected from him. You can't buy this album expecting to hear deep lyrics. Everyone knows that my favorite part of hip hop is the lyrics but as most of us know, lyrics are quickly disappearing. What I am trying to say is that considering not many other emcees are lyrically steppin there game up, Jeezy steps up his delivery and flow. Because of that he is still much better than 90% of the game right now. There is no doubt the same snowman idea over and over can get old but I actually think he changed it up a little bit. I believe this album is equal to L.A.X and because of that I will also say this is a 3.5. Forget it I am ratin. I will round up to a 4 but by no means is this a great album. Just another album that I am wondering if anyone will touch Nas' album. The only album which will even come close this album will be Paper trail. This album is just abover average.”

L.A.X Promo Photo Game - “L.A.X”

“Best review I have seen from nathan and i totally agree. This is 3.5. It is still better than 95% of the industry right now but still he got outshined way too many times. Common was much better on Angel, gets embarrassed lyrically by Nas on Letter to the King, and even the song Let Us Live is top notch because of chrisette Michele. I don't want to make it sound like this album sucked but truthfully besides the production and features, it didn't shock me either in a disappointing way or a good way. I will round up but with all the trash Game been talkin he needs to step it up a notch.”

Untitled Promo Photo Nas - “Untitled”

“just listened to the album a few times over, and found 1 and only 1 flaw, and that was that he didnt come out with a single earlier. Besides that, this is the best album of the year hands down, and top 5 lyrical albums of all time. NaS goes somewhere that no one has ever gone before. For this reason he deserves credit, but he also makes top notch music, and for that reason this is a Classic Album. It already is in my top 30 Hip Hop albums of all time, and I only see it going up. Unlike any other, NaS still runs it!”

Here I Stand Promo Photo Usher - “Here I Stand”

“This is a hot album. Not as good as Confessions, but that is almost impossible. I held Usher to high standards like normal and I dont think he disappointed at all. Usher is R&B!”

The Cool Promo Photo Lupe Fiasco - “The Cool”

“I will just put it this way. It has been a lil more than 5 months since i bouth this album, and i still play it more than any album I have. Well, its equal with Food & Liquor, Stllmatic, Illmatic, Ready To Die, and Americaz Most wanted. I am putting it in my top 10 albums of all time and that may mean nothin to you, but I don't give a sh*t. Anyway, this is fire. Every song on here is hot. The only song that i wonder about is Hi Definition, but that beat is so insane that I would at least rate that song a 3 star, but every other song is at least a 4 or 5. Anyway the concept is insane, and in the end is undeniably CLASSIC!”
